Every Day He lives so we can die!

Good Morning All,

I know today is Resurrection Sunday, and all Saints all over the world will come together and give the LORD Praises and Thanks, but to me, every day is Resurrection Sunday.

Every day we should be dying to our old self and old ideas to be renewed in the spirit of our mind to emerge anew in Christ.

Every day we who are sold out to Christ and a slave to his will expose ourselves for the sake of the cross; that we might convert some for the army of GOD.

Every day we are buried, and resurrected for his name sake.

Let the Grace of GOD show in our daily lives, so all men can see that Jesus died a real death, so we could live above the influence of the sin nature, and the enemy. Selah!

1 Corinthians 15 Msg Bible
29. Why do you think people offer themselves to be baptized for those already in the grave? If there's no chance of resurrection for a corpse, if God's power stops at the cemetery gates, why do we keep doing things that suggest he's going to clean the place out someday, pulling everyone up on their feet alive?
30-33. And why do you think I keep risking my neck in this dangerous work? I look death in the face practically every day I live. Do you think I'd do this if I wasn't convinced of your resurrection and mine as guaranteed by the resurrected Messiah Jesus? Do you think I was just trying to act heroic when I fought the wild beasts at Ephesus, hoping it wouldn't be the end of me? Not on your life! It's resurrection, resurrection, always resurrection, that undergirds what I do and say, the way I live. If there's no resurrection, "We eat, we drink, the next day we die," and that's all there is to it. But don't fool yourselves. Don't let yourselves be poisoned by this anti-resurrection loose talk. "Bad company ruins good manners."
34. Think straight. Awaken to the holiness of life. No more playing fast and loose with resurrection facts. Ignorance of God is a luxury you can't afford in times like these. Aren't you embarrassed that you've let this kind of thing go on as long as you have?

A Miracle happened in Texas

Dear Friends,

As you know, Arlington Texas, and surrounding cities were greatly affected by an estimated thirteen tornadoes that touched down Tuesday afternoon.

I woke up that morning around 6:00am, and prayed multiple prayers of protection and refuge for my community, my family, and my associates, more than usual. As I began my day, it appeared that a storm was brewing, but no one could have prepared us for what was to come.

We had no warning.

When the first tornado touched down, it was around 1:00pm. A man ran out of a local store I was at, stating that a tornado touched down in Southwest Arlington. As I got in the car with my son, heading towards I-20 W, I saw the tornado from a distance; it was nothing like it is portrayed in the movies.

I took the first exit, and continued down W Pleasant Ridge, my eyes were glued to the clouds, as I began to see them swirl into a cone shape quickly, expanding its size. The LORD instructed me to take the first right, it was a back road to my house a neighbor had taken me through, prior to Tuesday.

I met the tornado at the intersection of Mayfield & Steeplechase; wind and rain united to bring about fear, and destruction, but the the LORD took me to Mark 4:

35. That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36.Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37.A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” 39. He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41. They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

We have to trust that in times of trouble and uncertainty the LORD will give us away of escape, peace, and confidence in him to rebuke even the forces of nature.

I can tell you that I was not afraid, as I entered the house with my little one in my arms. I looked at the tornado hovering in the street with no power, only influence, and a few minutes later, the power was out.

Nevertheless, we weathered well in Texas, I am sure many Saints prayed before the storm hit, and we were all protected by the LORD ALMIGHTY under his wings of Iron.

Homes were destroyed in neighboring areas, but no fatalities or serious injuries occurred.

We experienced a miracle in Texas that can only be contributed to the LORD, and King Jesus.

I thank them for being our Shepherd, and our Savior.

I do not believe that this will be the only natural disaster that will come upon our nation as a whole, but the LORD gave me a WORD on 12/31/11 going into the New Year that rings true today, and forever, but was evident on Tuesday.

Take head all what GOD is saying to the Body of Christ, and the world.

Psalm 23
1.The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2.He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3.he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.
4.Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5.You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6.Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Knowing When To Go Against The Grain

Saints, I encourage you to know when to go against the grain, and when to incorporate it.

What grain, you may be asking yourself?

The grain that wants to influence your life; your thoughts, and your Christian walk.

It may appear to be an insignificant matter, or an obvious situation, but I can assure you it is a prop that was placed to derail you.

At times we cannot see with our physical eyes what lies among the grain, because the grain is planted among the open field for all to see, and partake of it at will. It sustains one physically, but it can also bring one down.

Jesus said, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.  When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. Matthew 13 24-26

The world’s system of living is considered an unwanted plant in the Kingdom, and we have to be alert and discern when the enemy has planted weeds in our lives.

You may have had a bad day that causes you to lash out, or a moment of insecurity that causes you to tell a lie about your personal endeavors. But I can assure that when you woke up, and started your day, the enemy had already planted seeds to hinder your light from shining through.

He was determined to see you casting doubt of the value of living the Kingdom Life upon others.

I encourage you to not become too comfortable or familiar with your surroundings. Always strive to incorporate the grain that was sown into your life by the LORD Jesus.

Beloved, The LORD set a pattern for us to follow through his son, Jesus Christ, and it is the WORD that is sown into our hearts and our minds that will spring forth in full bloom for all to see.

The words or clichés that make us feel good, but do not shape us into the good that GOD weighs and considers, are weeds camouflaged as seeds.

We have to go in the direction the LORD has established for us as individuals. The path that the LORD has me on, or has taken me through is not for anyone else to emulate.

My path was tailored for me before the foundation of this world, and the LORD prepared me while I was in my mother’s womb to overcome, just as he has done for you.

Do not forsake your birthright. Do not create an autobiography that does not tell your story.

We have to mature, Friends, in wisdom from above and not below, to discern the flow of the grain in our lives, and our worth.

Agape

A Simple Prayer:

LORD Jesus, Help me discern the weeds that have been planted or sprouted in my life that are choking up the WORD that has been planted in me so that I may love you with my whole heart, mind, and soul. I ask that you give me the strength, through the Holy Spirit, to remove each one by Faith, and empower me to see myself as a beautiful garden that you attend to in Jesus' Name Amen.

Matthew 13 NIV
31.He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32. Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.”

Do we really know the Love of GOD? or Are we relating to GOD as just a man?

We have to get to a point in which we experience his Agape love, and demonstrate it in every area of our lives.

Let the seasoned Saints come out and take their positions by encouraging the babes, and the Timothys in Christ, because, "It is said" to do this.

Learn to lean in to love, learn to sacrifice, and learn how to experience disappointment from those the LORD has sent your way, because it will pay off.

Even when you depart from them, a little bit of what you gave will still live on and spring forth in due time.

Did God not love, sacrifice, and give to us when we refused to bear fruit as his children?

Agape

A Simple Prayer:

Lord, I release my old ideas and lessons given to me by men, and rely solely on your instructions, and your directions for my life. I know that I do not always behave, or speak as your child, but I desire to be obedient, and do as, "It is said."
You have loved me, even when I did not love you, and you have tolerated me, when I did not tolerate others. Please forgive me. Help me LORD, to see myself as you see me, and purify me of all false hope and alliances in Jesus' name Amen!

1 John 3

1. How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2.Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3.Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

Faith, Love, and Hope (Part 2)

Yesterday, I summarized Faith in Salvation by concluding that we have to mature, and discover what Faith can really do.

In order for us to mature, we have to hear the WORD, read the WORD, and Pray in the WORD.

As I stated earlier, the LORD gave me seven manifestations of Faith for us to apply it in a practical way. This does not mean that you, per se, have not, but maybe someone else is struggling to make it applicable in their lives.

One thing is for certain, no two believers look alike, talk alike, or minister alike. We do not communicate with GOD the same way. We are unique, and distinguished by the call upon our lives, and temperaments. We were all set apart for a specific work for the same Boss. This uniqueness is something that should be honored and respected.

In life so many variables influence us: culture, upbringing, and social status, but the same LORD cares about us all. The rich are not regarded any less, nor are the poor regarded more in the eyes of GOD when it comes down to a revelation of who he is.

2 Peter 3:9 in part states: He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

“Everyone”
is the word that stands out to me, and that means that GOD will appoint, and send out who he deems fit, not man, to reach everyone.

As always I prayed before I wrote this, and waited until the Holy Spirit said, “Write now, and I will speak to you.”

Faith in Deliverance is no different, and it is the second manifestation of Faith.

The biblical meaning for the number two is to divide, and we know that there is discord between good and evil, light, and darkness, freedom, and oppression.

From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. Selah
Psalm 3:8

In the beginning we were separated from GOD by sin. Eve listened to the serpent, and Adam passively went along with it. But GOD had a plan to deliver us out of the hands of the enemy, and the sin nature, by sending his son to pay the price for it all.

Through him we have the Victory!

When you read the manual to life, which is the Bible, you will see how the LORD delivered the people out of Egypt, where they were oppressed by Pharaoh. He did not deliver them when Pharaoh first usurped his authority over them; he did it when he heard them crying out, because of their slave drivers.

The people were enslaved for forty years, but I believe they had to get to a point where they were sick and tired of someone else having dominion over them.

The Israelites were free to do as they pleased. They were not in bonds, they were not thrown in prison after a long, and hard day of work. They had families, and festivities, and lived a life without GOD that brought forth misery. But they hit rock bottom, and needed God’s divine intervention.

In order for us to be delivered we have to be sick and tired of being a slave to sin. We have to be sick of Satan’s influence over our lives by generational curses, and call out to GOD in Faith to be delivered.

Pharaoh was an enemy to the Israelites, and therefore he was an enemy to GOD. satan, and his little workers called demons are enemies to us, and an enemy to GOD.

The LORD brought the Israelites out in a supernatural way through the red sea, and provided for them in a supernatural way; manna fell from the sky.

Do you not perceive it? Do you have a revelation, and picture in your mind of how Faith can bring you out safely, provide for you, and restore you?

Friend, I’ve had those types of encounters with GOD. I received a revelation about Faith, and discovered what it could really do in me, for me, and around me.

The enemy will always oppress, or attempt to oppress you, to prevent you from becoming what GOD has called you to be while you were in your mother’s womb.

The bible says, in
Exodus 1 9-10 Look,” he said to his people, “the Israelites have become much too numerous for us. 10. Come, we must deal shrewdly with them or they will become even more numerous and, if war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country.”

Jesus is your red sea. He is waiting for you to call out to him where you are, and say “save me from this addiction, this lying spirit, anger, torment, demon possession, or sexual immorality.” He wants to deliver you from poverty in the natural, and in the spirit, as well as sickness, and any foe camouflaged as your friend.

Friend, the enemy knows that once you get a revelation of what Faith can do, and your GOD given potential, that you will join the army of GOD, and fight against him alongside your brothers and sisters.

That is why he has been dealing shrewdly with you.

There are many stories in the Bible about deliverance. The woman caught in adultery was delivered from her accusers.

And Jesus told her:
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin. John 8:11 NIV

Also, a man was delivered from an illness caused by sin, he was paralyzed for 38 years, but laid idly at the place known to heal people called the Bethesda pool.

I believe that this man was demonically oppressed. He expected assistance from others, but never asked for assistance, and was constantly overlooked, because of his physical state.

Friend, mature and listen to the voice of GOD, often he is speaking to you through his ambassadors that he called to do his will, and declare the Kingdom of GOD to you.

Jesus asked him, “Do you want to be well?”

The man did not answer the question directly; he tried to deflect the question by blaming someone else for his condition.

Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. John 5:8-9 NIV

We do that sometimes. It is always another person's fault for our grown-up behaviors, and consequences.

My father left me, my mother did not raise me right, or I was abused.

Beloved, I know they messed up. I know you were hurt. I know it affected you greatly, because it changed the course of your life, but Jesus wants to separate you from all that, and give you Love, and Hope in him.

Someone you loved dearly was snatched away through tragedy, or sickness, but even in death, life is still found.

Give it to him today, and leave it in Egypt.

When the Israelites departed from Egypt, they left with gifts from the Egyptians.

Beloved, when we are delivered, we are then rewarded with many gifts. We are restored, and provisions are made that exceed our wildest expectations, because the enemy has to give it all back.

The love one that passed away will never return to you, but GOD will give you someone to take their place.

Beloved, all of the years that were stolen from you, because of your addiction, or abuse you suffered, or being financially crippled, the devil has to release the goods to you, because you are now free.

Faith in Deliverance sets you free, but you have to maintain it by maturing in your relationship with GOD, because GOD delivers you every day from unseen and seen dangers.

In order for Faith to work, you have to renew your mind; to put on the new man or woman in Christ Jesus. You do this by staying in the presence of the LORD. His presence is in his WORD, which should also be found in your heart, mind, and will, because you are his temple.

Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16

John 5

14. Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” 15. The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.

You may be wondering why people keep talking to you about the LORD, when you have made it clear by your actions that you do not want to live GOD's way.

It is because Jesus loves you, and you owe him your life, because your life is not your own. He desires to see you living the life he died for on Calvary. He is trying to prevent something far more tragic from happening to you.

When Faith in Deliverance has manifested in your life, you will not keep silent. You will not downplay your transformation; you will not be ashamed of your previous condition, because your Egypt is behind you, and you have been separated from the darkness, and received another gift from the Father through the Son.

GOD is always Faithful and just in his timing.

God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:14

"I Am"
sent this WORD to you. Whatever you need deliverance from, it is yours today.

Agape

A Simple Prayer;

LORD, I cry out today with a sincere heart to be delivered, and set free from my Egypt (be specific). I cry out to be delivered from the enemy who seeks to destroy the plan, and purpose you have for my life. I am sick, and tired, and I want to be well, and whole in you. I want every gift that you have for me according to the riches found in Christ Jesus, and believe that Jesus died so that I would have eternal life and a rich life here on earth. I fall out of fellowship with my Egypt, and forgive my oppressors, including myself, and I thank you for your patience, Faith, Love, and Hope that you have in me, In Jesus’ name Amen!

Faith, Love and Hope

As we embrace our week, accomplish every task, and overcome every obstacle, I would like to share with you some words of Faith.

The beauty of life is the journey, which is my personal belief. We all have our own perspective on the subject that stems from our upbringing, culture, and personal experiences, but how we live our lives based off of these facts is another matter.

Faith, Love, and Hope is a triple threat to the enemy, and a recipe to overcome any obstacle we face along life’s highway.

It will not prevent the ups and downs, but it will give us the confidence that this too shall pass.

I laugh at myself sometimes just thinking about how foolish I used to think about Faith, Love, and Hope. I had my own ideas of how these three were to function in my life, not realizing that they were one in the same, but also carried out different purposes in my life.

You may have had those moments, when you think love should produce faith, or faith should produce love, and become frustrated, or depressed when faith does not produce what you hoped for.

There are many examples that can be given to illustrate this, but I am going to use a relationship to show how we can use these out of context.

Sally is in love with Ray, and she hopes that the Love she continues to demonstrate in their relationship will win his devotion to her. She has Faith that this method is going to bring forth the desires of her heart, which is marriage.

First, and foremost, the love that Sally feels for Ray is not the Agape (Love) of GOD. Her love is a conditional endearment, and can lose its momentum if it is not reciprocated. Secondly, her Faith is in her own method, which is limited by her own belief system. Most likely, she has seen or read this form of manipulation from mainstream sources like television or magazines. But it's also possible that Sally has modeled this behavior from her mother, father, or custodial guardian.

This demonstration of Faith, Love, and Hope is false. What is programmed in her is not the Faith, Love and Hope of the LORD, and the Savior. Her foundation is all wrong. It is being laid under false pretenses, and will only erupt in her face. This recipe will only add to her list of disappointments, thus believing that Faith, Love, and Hope cannot be attained in her life.

In Sally’s case, for Faith to work she and Ray would have to have an agreement in mind, heart, and will to produce a united hope.

Now this example was just a basis for Faith. It is not the meat and potatoes. We know that most relationships like this have many variables to factor in. But most people do not care about the variables, they care about their desires.

We may have taken that approach with GOD, in regards to our Faith in him, and his WORD. We did not factor in the variables; we only focused on our desires. But in order for Faith to work, we have to have a relationship with GOD that is not conditional.

Have you prayed about your desires, and allowed God to appraise them?

As I searched my heart, and spirit to articulate the true functions of Faith, Love and Hope from a biblical truth, the LORD began to speak to me and said, “It is simply by believing in me, and my instructions.”

As I looked at the word instructions many things came to mind like orders, lessons, teachings, directions, demands, commands, coaching, and assistance.

I am pretty sure you too could share a testimony or two about Faith, and we would learn another course that one had to take to become confident in GOD. When we share our Faith, we share our lives. We become one because GOD is the source of our Faith. There is no comparison or debate about it if we serve the same LORD, and received the same death and baptism in Christ JESUS.

The first manifestation of Faith is Salvation, and it is a gift from GOD. This gift is gained through his son, Jesus Christ, and in him we obtain forgiveness for our sins (past, present, and future).

The biblical meaning for the number one is Unity. It is by the sinner’s prayer that we are reconciled back to GOD through Jesus Christ, and we find ourselves at peace with GOD.

It seems quite easy to let go of guilt, shame, and fear when someone else is willing to bear it all for their name’s sake. It is no different than occurring a late fee on a bill and the creditor decides to refund it back to you.

Saints, the LORD decided to issue us a credit in the form of his son. All debts, fees, and interest that have accumulated over our lifetimes were paid in full on Calvary.

Accepting this with a repenting heart is the first step in reconciliation, by which we become saved, and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

Hallelujah, we are now friends with God, and are able to walk in agreement with him as he reveals to us his many gifts.

Yes, there's more!

The LORD has revealed to me seven manifestations of Faith, and we will explore each one this week.

It was by Adam, the father of many men, that we inherited sin, but it was by one son, Jesus, that we were redeemed, and given a new inheritance. This One Son gave us an agreement with GOD.

The one thing that rings true is that our journey to Faith is unique, and tailored to the grace given to us by Christ. It should not be taken for granted, but cherished.

It was a gift given to us without protest. It hung from the cross looking down on us, and called us by our name. He called us knowing that we would have setbacks and a doubting heart at times. He called us knowing that we would turn inwardly, and outwardly, to resolve situations that needed his divine intervention.

By Faith we were redeemed by the Love of God to have Hope in his Son.

Beloved,

He called you by giving you a revelation of who he is; now you must mature, and discover what Faith can really do.

A Simple Prayer:
Lord, I am confident that I am redeemed by Faith, and ask that you remove any unbelief. My unbelief is not in your WORD, it is not in your son, but in external factors. Give me hope where it has died; give me a vision, where there is uncertainty. I Declare now in the name of JESUS that Faith, Love, and Hope are activated in me to overcome all the variables in my life. Amen

Ephesians 1 NIV
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. 9 And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.
11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

Springtime

Beloved,

I have come to a profound revelation about the various seasons that we experience as the earth revolves around the sun. Each season brings about distinct changes in the environment, and yields its own climate, and elements, as the intensity of the sunlight reaches the Earth's surface.

All of it is produced by cause and effect.

At times the seasons that we find ourselves in do not produce its fruit.

Winter for example, may have more rain, and fewer chills, or summer may feel like spring.

We begin to say, “Hey, it does not feel like winter, something is off.”

Yet, we are not in any position to change the temperature.

Life sometimes is like the weather, as we can become frustrated with the direction it is going in, especially when we are experiencing the springtime ambiance without its fruition.

This is usually due to us acquiring debt in the winter, instead of being still, and basking in the LORD’s glory.

Friend, the winter season is the time to die to the misdeeds of your heart, mind, and will, or to just simply allow the Holy Spirit to reveal God’s plan and purpose for the next season.

It is evident that the natural seasons that we experience are transparent in our spiritual lives, as we grow in our Faith, and gifts.

Wisdom reveals when to sow, and when to reap, when to love, and when to hate, when to hold on, and when to let go, but most importantly, the time to change.

Sometimes the LORD requires us to be silent, and immobile to make us into his masterpiece.

It’s not beneficial for us to question his method or timing of transformation. He is JUST! We have to be obedient children, and surrender to the LORD in order for the fruits of our salvation to spring forth.

As we develop our Faith, and our understanding of the Father’s heart we will become more aware of the seasons that we are in to produce Godly results.

We will no longer wrestle with our flesh, or be tossed to and fro by every wind, or storm, but remain steadfast on the ROCK (Jesus) which is our sure foundation.

I have weathered many seasons that were quite difficult, because I recognized what the LORD was doing in me, for me, and around me. My climate changed, the elements varied, but GOD’s WORD took flight to accomplish its task in due season.

It is now springtime, do you not perceive?

A simple prayer:
Father, open my heart, renew my mind and arrest my will to bring forth my springtime harvest. I see the beauty of the season as everything buds and takes form, and flight. I see my transformation, I see my climate changing, and every internal and external element hindering me from my first fruit confiscated in Jesus’ name Amen.

Isaiah 45:8 NLT
8.“Open up, O heavens, and pour out your righteousness. Let the earth open wide so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. I, the Lord, created them. 9.“What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’ 10.How terrible it would be if a newborn baby said to its father, ‘Why was I born?’ or if it said to its mother, ‘Why did you make me this way?’”

The Wind of Change

Do you feel the wind of Change? Do you see the Glory Clouds?

The wind in nature is the air in motion.

It can be a gentle breeze to refresh you from a hot day, and a main attraction as external elements become noticeable. You will see grass sway in one direction; leaves take flight, beautiful kites saluting the skies, nautical sails befriending their own bodies of water, and unwarranted debris landing at your front door.

A gentle wind is more inviting than a forcible one.

Air or wind that is blown by a violent force will disregard your lack of preparation. It will accomplish its task to bring about change in the environment. We see the damages that a tornado causes both physically, and emotionally. Homes are destroyed, and often renovation is needed, but the windstorm at times causes casualties.

The Holy Spirit is much like the wind, it is the Son (Jesus) and the Father moving to bring about change in us. At times it is a gentle transformation.

We notice it internally as we become the main attraction. It is manifested as we walk more in Faith, and not by sight. It is fueled by our prayers being in line with the will of GOD for our lives, and begins to take flight in a supernatural way.

But there are other times when GOD’s gentleness has been abused or ignored. We no longer respond to the tender unction of the Holy Spirit. We no longer listen to wise counsel, or discern the wind of change that is needed in our lives to catapult us into our next promise. So the storm or storms begin to manifest.

We lack understanding, because we are not prepared for the external elements that affect our internal progress. We do not always realize that the storm should cause us to cast out what we do not need for the journey to gain control of our vessel, or to just stay the course that the LORD has already given us.

Paul experienced this kind of storm;

Acts 27 NIV
13. When a gentle south wind began to blow, they thought they had obtained what they wanted; so they weighed anchor and sailed along the shore of Crete. 14. Before very long, a wind of hurricane force, called the “northeaster,” swept down from the island. 15. The ship was caught by the storm and could not head into the wind; so we gave way to it and were driven along. 16. As we passed to the lee of a small island called Cauda, we were hardly able to make the lifeboat secure. 17. When the men had hoisted it aboard, they passed ropes under the ship itself to hold it together. Fearing that they would run aground on the sandbars of Syrtis, they lowered the sea anchor and let the ship be driven along. 18. We took such a violent battering from the storm that the next day they began to throw the cargo overboard. 19. On the third day, they threw the ship’s tackle overboard with their own hands. 20. When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved.

If you read further you will find in verses 21-26; Paul stood before the men and said, “You should have taken my advice and not sailed from Crete; then you would have spared yourselves and this damage and loss.” He encouraged them to not be afraid, and to be courageous. Paul also said, “Last night an angel of the God whose I am and whom I serve stood beside me and said, ‘Do not be afraid.”

Paul confessed his Faith in GOD to the men who did not listen to his counsel.

We will sometimes find ourselves going through a storm just because we are connected with certain people, and suffer the same outcome. We will also take others through unnecessary losses like family, and friends. Sometimes parents take their children through avoidable storms, because they did not listen to wise counsel or the gentle wind of the Holy Spirit.

Paul made it very clear that the ship will be wrecked, but their lives will be spared.

The wind of Change operates just like that. What may be hindering you from taking flight and sailing to your next destination will have to be destroyed, or you may have to break away to receive the help from the LORD.

That is the purpose of his Glory Cloud. He will drive out the enemy to protect, to transition, and to transform you for his name’s sake.

Let the wind of Change blow freely and gently, because it feels so good to arrive safely to your destination.

Selah!

Deuteronomy 33 NIV
26. “There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty. 27. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, ‘Destroy him!’ 8. So Israel will live in safety alone; Jacob’s spring is secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew.

Spring Cleaning

This is an excerpt from the Spring Cleaning Message that was brought forth by team member Malcolm Laws this past Sunday. We will be posting the audio message as soon as possible.

Saints, I encourage you to speak God's praises, give Him glory in your conversations. Talk about Jesus, and the gospel and its effect on your life. God will sometimes lead you to talk around people you meet for the first time, because this might be their first time hearing about God from one of His friends, not just someone observing from the distance. Another reason is that God has showed me that God is the one thing that people won't lie about and everybody will give you an honest opinion of God and I don't care who you ask, somebody has an opinion of God.

About God's friends, let's begin with one of His oldest friends, Abraham.

And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend. (James 2:23 NIV)

We know Abraham was a righteous man, a good father and a good husband to his wife Sarah. Abraham had so much faith in his friend God that he was willing to sacrifice his son, Isaac.

Not only should we show this faithfulness to our friends, but we should make friends that are willing to sacrifice to us. God later sacrificed His son for all His friends. God didn't have Abraham do anything He wasn't willing to do Himself. God gave Abraham a great land to possess, and God prospered Abraham in all he did. God set the precedent on being a friend.

Another good friend of God's was a fellow named David.
David had flaws, such as his flesh. Yes, he had an adulterous affair with a married woman, yes his family was dysfunctional, yes he'd gotten a killed to be with that married woman, but every time he made a mistake he'd repent, learning from his mistakes and never committed the same mistake twice. David was humble, and was always willing to admit his mistake to the LORD, and accept the punishment that came with it.

The best fighters not only make hits, but truly great fighters can take hits. Ali took all George Foreman had, a man who could punch a hole in a heavy bag, and he took it right on the chin. Mike Tyson on the other hand, was only conditioned for the first three rounds because he was a master at punching, but he was too busy throwing punches to learn how to take them. As believers, we wish we wouldn’t get hit, but we do. The devil is going to hit us hard sometimes, It’s just like when that bully pushed you down in front of the whole school at recess and asked, “What are you going to do?”

When the devil pushes us down, what are we going to do? Are we going to put our heads in the ground like ostriches? Or are we going to shake the dust off, clean ourselves up and back in the fight? Us men and women of God really need to keep it real with the people and tell them when they’ve signed up for Christ they’ve signed up for a fight. Satan was the dirtiest player in the game before Ric Flair, so this is no joke. He doesn’t throw haymakers, he throws low blows.

But if you’re a friend to Jesus, then the LORD is going to give you a bronze jaw, nerves of steel, a heart of gold and the Spirit of God.

David was also a worshipper, evident in the Book of Psalms, in deep love with the LORD. David wasn't afraid to cry out to the LORD, he wasn't afraid to praise the LORD openly, he wasn't afraid to grieve. The LORD loves those who love Him.

If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15 KJV)

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. (John 15:10 KJV)

David was always in prayer, in worship, in praise, in love with God. David always had faith in God, no matter what. The word relationship is serious.

Your relationship with God is a barometer for all your other relationships, and if there's a divide between you and God, there will be a divide between you and other people. If God's love isn't manifested in you, then you'll love people with a warped love.

We see this with men who hit their wives, and some men view it as the expression of their love. Some women think their men don't love them if they don't beat them. This is not the love of God! Boyfriends tell girlfriends that if they loved them they'd have sex with them, but this is not the love of God! If you're in this type of relationship you and your partner need deliverance! If you're abusive, there's a spirit attached to that and you need to pray to God to show you the root and get delivered! If you allow yourself to be victimized, deliverance is needed. We are not to be victims, we are to be victorious!

So say what you want about David, as people sometimes do to make themselves feel better, but you can't say he didn't love the LORD. Don't worry about what David did, he's already died and gave his account to God. Worry about what you're doing, because your fiscal period has not ended, and your account is still being prepared.

It’s spring cleaning time, let the blood of Jesus clean it up! Clean that dust from the past out!

Saints, are you in Season?

Praise HIM

The LORD is WORTHY to be PRAISED!!!
Hallelujah! There are days that I cry for joy, because he is so GOOD.

When the WORD tells you do not worry about your life, what you will eat, drink, wear, or live, because your Father knows that you need them, believe it.

HE is the provider (Jehovah Jireh) of the finest things. He will give you more than what you expect, when you just TRUST in him.

Pray and cast it upon the LORD, he can handle the petitions of the whole world.

He cares for you. He will never leave you or forsake you, so don't forsake the righteousness of GOD for the temporal things of the world.

His resources are everlasting, and blessings are never ending.

He delivers according to the measure of our FAITH.

So have FAITH as big as a mountain in JESUS' name Amen!

Selah!

Matthew 6 MSG Bible

25-26"If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don't fuss about what's on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds.

27-29"Has anyone by fussing in front of the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? All this time and money wasted on fashion—do you think it makes that much difference? Instead of looking at the fashions, walk out into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They never primp or shop, but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them.

30-33"If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

34"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

The GOOD NEWS

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. Matthew 9:35 NIV

Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.” So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
Mark 1 38-39 NIV

Friends:

The world and so-called Christians have a distorted view of the GOOD NEWS that Jesus came to declare to the world.

We know according to John 3:16 that GOD sent his only begotten son to save us, and if we believed we would be saved. But somehow this verse and the ones that follow are either misunderstood, or overlooked intentionally.

John 3 18-21 summation is: that if we do not believe we stand condemned already, because we did not believe in the NAME of GOD’s one and only son.

Jesus is light, and if we know him, he will expose what is hindering us from the life he died to give us.

These scriptures make it very clear that those that willfully continue in sin flee from the truth, and those that want to be redeemed by the NAME of JESUS will come to the light, and be set free.

It will be known that it was by the POWER OF GOD, because of the transformation that would take place in their lives.

As believers we’re not the standard for living, Jesus is.
But because we are his Ambassadors, we have to live a life that exemplifies his standard. Hebrews 12:2

We should be in constant prayer for people all over the world, but especially for our Brothers and Sisters who are not steadfast in the Faith.

Paul said it best:

Brothers, I do not yet consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained. (Philippians 3 13-16 NIV)

That being said, when I lived and participated in the depravity of the world, I had friends, co-workers, and family, proclaiming the GOOD NEWS and I rejected it.

In my mind, if the GOOD NEWS caused you to indulge more in a sinful lifestyle, I did not want it. I was better off with my own standard of living.

See, those people that claimed to be Christians did not attain what they had learned about the Gospel of the Kingdom. They were still living in darkness, and were not pressing toward the goal that was set for them. In fact, as the scripture stated in John 3:20, they feared their deeds would be exposed.

You may be like that. The LORD has spoken to you, or someone was sent to minister to you about the GOOD NEWS of the Kingdom, and you rejected it.

Please Repent, and pick up your Bible it is all there.

No one is accountable for your Salvation, but you. People may fail you, but they do not have to give an account for the way you live your life.

The LORD JESUS is bringing a revival back in the hearts of those that truly have embraced the KINGDOM OF GOD to stir up the Body and people alike that are living like GOD is not GOOD.

When you mature in your thinking, the LORD will reveal to you the Power of the GOOD NEWS, but as long as you stay immature, you will never obtain the keys to the KINGDOM. An immature mind has not been renewed by the Holy Spirit, and is still at enmity with GOD, in addition will not conform to put on the new man or woman.

Men, and women will continue to look for something good in cliches, self-help books and false religions.

Nevertheless, The GOOD NEWS~ is that, you do not have to be oppressed, depressed, and suicidal, because Jesus came that you might be healed.

I say might, because only you can come to him to be cured, and set free.

The GOOD NEWS~ is that you do not have to be poverty stricken or have a mindset that is bankrupt, because Jesus came for you to live the KINGDOM life and be Blessed beyond measure.

The GOOD NEWS~ is that you can be changed, you can be redeemed, you can be healed, you can be cured, and you can be an Ambassador for Christ, claiming the GOOD NEWS, because you believe in the NAME OF THE SON.

IT IS IN the name of JESUS that the Devil and his cohorts have to flee. It is in HIS NAME that the spirit of infirmity is bound and cast out. It is in HIS NAME that you were called before the foundation of this world to proclaim the GOOD NEWS of the KINGDOM OF GOD. Romans 8:30

Beloved,

It is impossible to keep silent on something so radical and supernatural. In HIS NAME all the issues of life are under our feet.

HE is the Redeemer, Jesus Christ! HE is the WORD, and all things were made through him.

It is with a heavy heart to conclude that those who feel judged have condemned themselves, because they chose not believe that Jesus was sent by GOD, to die a terrible death to redeem them from sin.

Let those that have an ear, hear what GOD is saying. Jesus is still in every city, every town, every by way and highway, every country and place of obscurity, healing people of every kind of disease, and every kind of sickness.

But most importantly, people are still being set free from the prince of darkness in HIS (JESUS') name.

People are still preaching the KINGDOM OF GOD, which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

I will Declare the GOOD NEWS of the KINGDOM OF GOD with the hope that all my Brethren will rekindle their fire, until the day I take my last breath, because the GOOD NEWS brought life more abundantly, and expectancy for life after death for us all.

Dear Friends,

Ask for the Living Water with a sincere heart, and it shall be given to you in JESUS' name. Amen!

Salt of the Earth

People are only comfortable if you are like them.

Let us refuse to make the world and Saints alike comfortable for their sake. Let us hope that they would arouse our conscience to bring about change in us, for us, and around us.

Matthew 5 Msg Bible
13"Let me tell you why you are here. You're here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.

14-16"Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

Interstate 66

The WORD of GOD is like driving instructions. The more you take that route, it becomes familiar to you. You no longer have to look at the directions in fear of taking a wrong turn, because all of your spiritual senses will direct you in the right direction.

Selah!

Proverbs 15:24
The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Just Give the WORD and it will Grow

James 1
22. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24. and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

Personal Reflection:

I had deep conversation with my middle son, Marcus, which still resonates with me as I write this.

It is a parent’s dream to hear that their love, edification, and training have taken root.

As I sat down with him in the living room, I began to praise him, encouraging him to continue to stay grounded in his Faith, because he was called to serve the BODY of Christ as a Pastor. I wanted him to know that I have taken notice of his change, and that I appreciate all his help in the ministry.

I affirmed that his calling requires him to have a servant’s heart, even when it is an inconvenience to him.

Now, you may be thinking that my son is too young for me to have this kind of conversation, but he is not I assure you.

At the tender age of nine, the LORD called him to Salvation. The LORD supernaturally snatched my son out of the hands of the devil, in addition to generational curses stemming from his father’s side in a church service that was not calling anyone up to the altar.

The LORD compelled him to proclaim the sinner’s prayer aloud, causing all in attendance to weep. He had no physical coach to feed him what to say, but KING JESUS was there, leading him to the Cross.

From that moment on, many words of prophecy fell over my son, but it only confirmed the WORD that was given to me while he was still in the womb.

Today, at the age of 17, he has encountered many challenges in his life, because he was called, yet he chose to forsake it. He’d chosen to blend in to the system of this world, as well as the people in it, but always found himself being loved in appearance and hated inwardly.

Yesterday, he thanked me for the training that he has received from his youth. He stated, “I did not know that other children were not taught heavenly wisdom,” also confessing, “They don’t know what it means to genuinely love and care about others.”

He appreciated the way I taught him that knowledge is not enough; application and demonstration must follow it. He stated that he rebelled against me, because he knew that I was trying to teach him the right way, not just my way of living.

Last but not least, he knew why I never believed him when he pretended to change.

He said, “Mom all those times I told you I changed you didn't believe me, because I did not change the way I was thinking.” He said, “I was just trying to convince myself and then you.”

I say all this to point out that no man or woman of GOD is your judge, people of GOD. They are not on a high horse, looking down on you because they are all knowing. They are obedient.

I personally do not boast of myself, but the Christ that is in me is deserving of his GLORY.

It is a POWER that changes you from the inside out.

It is a POWER that says goodbye to the old and hello to the NEW.
There is nothing left of your old self when he is through with you.

1 Corinthians 1:31
Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

My son now recognizes my heart, and understands me on spiritual level, not a carnal one.

He has received a revelation from the LORD JESUS that Satan cannot take away.

He has matured into a young man that sees my instructions as freedom, and will not forget what he has heard, but will instead demonstrate it in his own life to be Blessed by what he does.

Never give up on your children.
