A Day of Rest

Today is a Day of Rest from all that WE think matters. It is a day to really seek the LORD for Peace, Healing, and Direction. Our Heavenly Father put this decree to use himself.

Genesis 2:2
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

We have to understand that there is a time for everything. One should not toil and not enjoy the spoils for that would be in vain. One should not have a family and have no time to cultivate it for that is a sure way to destruction.

For the true reward from one’s work is to sit back in amazement of what has been planted thus far.

We allow the enemy to influence our deadly habits of work, and we never consult the Father for what we say we are working for. We serve a loving Father that according to John 10:10 sent his son for us to have life and more abundantly.

If we are exhausting ourselves in what we do for a living we have to ask,
“Who are we laboring for?”

Yahweh himself knew that more work was needed to be done, but sometimes we have to rest to gather back what we have already put out.  Sometimes we have to know what to Work for and what to Pray for. These two require more or less physical posturing and is limited by the source it yields from.

Genesis 1 1-9
1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
6. And God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.” 7. So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8. God called the expanse “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
9. And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.

In our own life we should be like our Father able to work at certain things and see the fruit of it, and able to pray for other things and see it spring forth into existence. Wisdom has to occupy us daily to execute the Plan and Purpose for our life. In verse two it stated: “the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” Our Father was deciding how to execute his plan for it, and what would be its good use for the earth and its occupants.

Far more than we would like to admit we do things for self, and not for Yahweh. We do things to have an outward appearance of accomplishments but GOD is not present in it. Yahweh did not execute his plan and purpose until the second day, but he did address what he could do on the first day.

Yahweh is omniscient and he does things in divine order. When we do not rest we tend to pick up where we left off, and it leaves room for error. (Changes could have been made, other things needed to be considered over looked)

Yahweh had a second phase to the day and night Purpose:
Genesis 1 14-19
14. And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15. and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16. God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, 18. to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19. And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

What are we trying to create in our own life that we can speak into existence through prayer for it to line up with the will of Yahweh?

Yahweh had us on his mind from the beginning in every way, and his decree to observe the Sabbath is no different.

Mark 2:27-28
And Jesus said to them, The Sabbath was made on account and for the sake of man, not man for the Sabbath;  28. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.

If we cannot see what we are toiling for in a period of time without rest, than we have fell in a deadly habit of just laboring without yielding Godly results.

Be Well In Jesus Name!

Wait on the LORD

Often as women we try to control everything and end up regretting it. We tend to summarize our future by our current state and dismiss or fail to consult the LORD concerning our life.

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

When we move out of desperation we partner with a person; place or thing that is not beneficial for all involved.

We become discontent in our current state and do not seek the LORD for guidance and comfort. This is often found when we reach a certain age and have acquired worldly accolades but no solid family foundation (husband and children) so we seek to duplicate what only the LORD can Bless us with.

Being barren in any area in life often means the LORD is still plowing or fertilizing it. He may be preparing our heart, renewing our mind or cultivating his Best son, His Best job or New Endeavor.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Trusting the LORD is key, because we know he would not withhold any good thing from us if we are obedient.

Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

In the Bible a woman named Sarai wanted to take matters in her own hands regarding starting a family when her natural time to bear children seemed to past her by. But she did not consider the cost of such a proposal birthed out of desperation. Her mind was so fixed on her own understanding that she never consulted the LORD or her husband.

Genesis 16 NIV
1. Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian maidservant named Hagar; 2. so she said to Abram, “The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my maidservant; perhaps I can build a family through her.”
Abram agreed to what Sarai said. 3. So after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, Sarai his wife took her Egyptian maidservant Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife.

Her request turned to be her heartache.

4. He slept with Hagar, and she conceived. When she knew she was pregnant, she began to despise her mistress. 5. Then Sarai said to Abram, “You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering. I put my servant in your arms, and now that she knows she is pregnant, she despises me. May the Lord judge between you and me.”

What are we planning to execute that we have not consulted the Father about?
Who have we asked the LORD to judge in reference to what we have asked for but it did not weigh in our favor?

In the end we can walk in love or repay evil with evil.

6“Your servant is in your hands,” Abram said. “Do with her whatever you think best.” Then Sarai mistreated Hagar; so she fled from her.

But the LORD is faithful in delivering those we (out of the need to control) entangle in our own agenda.

Our actions will always affect the other person’s emotions thus their way of thinking. One can be right and still be wrong.

Psalm 4:4 NIV
In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Selah

Sometimes the conversation and answer we have with the LORD is not catering to our emotions, but it reveals his perfect will for our life.

7.The angel of the Lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur. 8. And he said, “Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?”
“I’m running away from my mistress Sarai,” she answered.
9. Then the angel of the Lord told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.” 10.The angel added, “I will so increase your descendants that they will be too numerous to count.”
11.The angel of the Lord also said to her: “You are now with child and you will have a son.
You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery.

The plans that we execute for ourselves bring sorrow, but the plans of the LORD will bring Blessings and exceed our expectations.

Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.

Genesis 17
15. God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. 16. I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”

We have to Wait on the LORD Dear Sisters for whatever we desire to birth forth in our life.

It will happen in due season the right way if we faint not.

Psalm 27:14
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

The Word Works

Mark 4 35-41
35. That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36. Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”39. He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.40. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

We all experience moments of doubt, and uncertainty. And at times the storm may begin to overtake us with emotions of hopelessness and despair.

You may be dealing with a financial turbulence, a nervous breakdown, an abusive relationship, a drug addiction, a broken marriage, a dream deferred, or lost the ability to communicate with your family, but the LORD can speak to your situation before it becomes ship wrecked.

Trust the Word for your life and let it work. Jesus can still Quiet the Storm, and stop the devil in his tracks.

Have Faith and Speak the WORD to your situation. “You are Above and not Beneath”

Trust GOD and he will perfect you.

Hebrew 13:20-21
May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen

Don’t fall for Samson or Delilah

Judges 16 4-5
Sometime later, he fell in love with a woman in the Valley of Sorek whose name was Delilah. The rulers of the Philistines went to her and said, “See if you can lure him into showing you the secret of his great strength and how we can overpower him so we may tie him up and subdue him. Each one of us will give you eleven hundred shekels of silver.”

Judges 16 15-19
15.Then she said to him, “How can you say, ‘I love you,’ when you won’t confide in me? This is the third time you have made a fool of me and haven’t told me the secret of your great strength.” 16.With such nagging she prodded him day after day until he was tired to death. 17. So he told her everything. “No razor has ever been used on my head,” he said, “because I have been a Nazirite set apart to God since birth. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man.”
18. When Delilah saw that he had told her everything, she sent word to the rulers of the Philistines, “Come back once more; he has told me everything.” So the rulers of the Philistines returned with the silver in their hands. 19Having put him to sleep on her lap, she called a man to shave off the seven braids of his hair, and so began to subdue him. And his strength left him.
20. Then she called, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”

In a moment of weakness one can begin to rehearse aspects of their life with a new leading lady or man.

What appears as deja vu is a familiar spirit seeking to torment you with haunting images and heartache from your past.

The emotional damage will give you the impression that you will always attract this type of person because insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

Stop visiting your past through your invisible black book and gravitating to soul ties.

Repent and ask the LORD to sever all soul ties in Jesus Name!

It is unfortunate to discover later in life that your type has been the strongman keeping you from the Proverbs 31 woman or the man after God’s own heart in Ephesians 5:25.

Your type is a form of the perfect man or woman that has an outline, but no detail in regards to value.

Your mind has to be renewed to put on the new man or woman and act on God’s righteousness, instead of your own agenda to bring about change.

Ephesians 4 22-24
22. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23.to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24.and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Every person will communicate (verbally or non-verbally) and act according to their heart.

Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

In the mist of it all you are worthy to be loved and flourish in love regardless of your past mistakes.

1 John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Dear Brothers do not allow the Delilah in your life to passively mislead you and expose your weakness to keep you captive by seduction from your Proverbs 31 wife.

Proverbs 31 10-12
10. A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
11. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
12. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.

Dear Sisters do not allow the Samson in your life to cast you as a feature only in his life, and consider you as another conquest. (Seek the Kingdom and desire the leading lady position as a wife).

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

The shackles of your misguided Heart has kept you in bondage way too long let Jesus set you free today.

John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Be Well in Jesus Name

Walk Don't Run

Walking in Genuine Love from God will bring Genuine Love to you.

Luke 6:32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them.

Loneliness is the absence of GOD in a particular area in our lives.
We have to be God conscious and not self conscious and trust that the LORD is working all things out. Our biggest pitfall as women is settling for men that have not been approved by the Father for the sake of having one.

We were made for them, but not intended to be used and abused by them.
Genesis 2:18 The LORD GOD said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him.
We serve such a loving Father and he wants us to sit at the throne of Grace and cast all our cares on him, because he cares for us.

We have to trust and let our Faith work on our behalf, repent, forgive, and let go, and he will make the crooked path straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Men love, and hurt as we do but it is their nature to be protective and guard what is vulnerable to them (their emotions).
We have to know we are not independent of each other, and need Jesus to reconcile us to GOD to discover what is his perfect will for our lives.
1 Corinthians 11 11-12
In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.

Ladies and Gentlemen let your Life mates come from the LORD.

Lead me to the Cross

It is never too Late

Romans 10:9

If you declare that Jesus is Lord, and believe that God brought him back to life, you will be saved.

When we are broken in our spirits we seek for a deeper understanding to bring us out of our situations. We yearn to know our identity, and our purpose for living.

This is a humbling moment when we can connect with GOD to be healed and set free.

Many paths can lead us to heartache, and tragedy, but one road leads us to salvation.

It is not the will of God for one to be laden in sins such as sexual immorality, greed, lies, anger, backbiting, resentment, hate, and drugs. Sin can flood one with emotions of shame, guilt, and despair, but there is a remedy to be set free.

I remember the day my relationship status transitioned with the LORD.
I had no more reserve to resist the conversion that was taken place.

In fact, I asked the LORD to show me the way, so that I could bypass man’s religious deception. I asked him to open my eyes for me to see, open my heart for me to receive, and arrest my will for me to follow.

I was transitioning Dear Friend, from creation to child, willfully and gently.

As I look back, the abrasions I suffered was due to my own friction with the LORD's standard of living, but grace had its way.

Grace loved me when I was unlovable, and grace did not tolerate my constant foolishness.

The steps to Salvation are not complex, but rather simple. God’s love for us is an overflow of joy, peace, love, and righteousness. It is a step forward in the right direction to be delivered from all manner of iniquity that keep us from living an abundant life.

The abundant life is not great wealth as you may picture it, but a wholesome approach to living life to the fullest in Christ. It's freedom from what once kept you in bondage, and joy in spite of what you may face. But most importantly, it is assurance that the LORD will never leave you or forsake you.

Jesus died for our sins: 1 Peter 3:18 This is true because Christ suffered for our sins once. He was an innocent person, but he suffered for guilty people so that he could bring you to God. His body was put to death, but he was brought to life through his spirit.

And he is just to forgive us as we turn from sin to receive Salvation, as we turn from every lie, into the truth of his WORD.

Hebrew 8:12 because I will forgive their wickedness and I will no longer hold their sins against them."

The Lord does not beat us down with our past, instead he gives us a Brighter Future.

The Cross is available today right where you are! If you Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ died on Calvary for you and Believe.

Recite: Lord, I know I am a sinner, and believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for me, and was raised from the dead. Please forgive me for my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and mind.  I surrender my will to you and ask you to be my LORD and Savior. I ask that the Holy Spirit have its way in me. I give you my life so that I may be healed, delivered and set free from the snares of the enemy in Jesus Name Amen.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I welcome you to the Kingdom, and encourage you to keep GOD first in your life by praying daily, studying your word, and getting connected to a local Church.

My suggestion would be to start in the four Gospels of the Bible, preferably John.

When you learn to love GOD with all your heart, mind, and will, you can overcome all obstacles, because love is unstoppable.

The Holy Spirit will lead you the rest of the way, and I am praying for you.

Be Well in Jesus Name!
