Have you ever looked in the mirror and said, “I’m getting old”?
Well each year the economy seems to take a dive, whether it’s the car industry or wall street, the American people seem to feel the impact. But there is one business that through out the years continue to boom and thrive, It’s the Beauty business.
They will sell you five lipsticks of the same color, promising that each one will do something completely different. You know sometimes we live our lives like that. We set up a buffet of what will bring us pleasure, comfort, and joy, and leave out change.
As we age, we can become more indifferent, rigid, less likely to believe; even when we say we do, and it begins to wear on us physically.
Now we know genetics play a part in how we age, but I like to think that when we became joint heirs with Christ Jesus, the natural aging process is no longer a factor in how we mature both physically and spiritually.
As Women, we care an awful lot about our appearances as we should, but over compensating is just obvious when you have fire engine red hair, and bronzed skin. I’m not making a joke, I’m being serious. We care more about creative expression, than creating authenticity.
It is said, you can tell a lot about a person by how they dress, but you can tell a lot about a person in just about everything that they do, that don’t line up with the natural aging process; both spiritually, and naturally.
Paul Said,
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11
I’m not saying that we adorn ourselves with what they wore in 1950’s, I’m saying be authentic, and true to the natural maturity process for you, both physically, and spiritually; even how we relate to our counterparts.
Women of a certain maturity need to be more of an example for the young Christian women that are coming up in this wicked generation. They need to be encouraging, affirming, supportive, and directive. It’s obvious when you behave like a bitter, jealous, envious, hopeless, and loveless woman of GOD. Your bones are dry, and they need to be refreshed by authenticity.
Just like the Samaritan woman, in John 4, who was looking in the natural, regarding Jesus not having anything to draw the water for him, so are you, looking at the young women in the LORD.
We all can learn something from someone, so you can draw from their tenacity, their untainted wisdom, their hope, their passion, and life to resurrect your dry bones. GOD is not pleased, and he is not fooled.
Just as it is so, the younger women should take heed to the instructions, and examples of women endowed with the heart of a mother, and the love of GOD to bring honor, and truth to their own lives.
You can be broken, and a mess, and still give GOD’s best if you have genuine love on the inside of you.
I thank the LORD for all the Naomi’s in the world, for I have known three in my life, and I thank the LORD for the Ruth’s that have went on to marry their Boaz to bring forth a Greater Purpose.
Intimacy with GOD in 2014, will convict the hearts of those that have dry bones, so they too can live, and live life more Abundantly.
Ezekiel 37:4
Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!
