Salt of the Earth

People are only comfortable if you are like them.

Let us refuse to make the world and Saints alike comfortable for their sake. Let us hope that they would arouse our conscience to bring about change in us, for us, and around us.

Matthew 5 Msg Bible
13"Let me tell you why you are here. You're here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.

14-16"Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

The WORD of GOD is like driving instructions. The more you take that route, it becomes familiar to you. You no longer have to look at the directions in fear of taking a wrong turn, because all of your spiritual senses will direct you in the right direction.

Selah!

Proverbs 15:24
The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Just Give the WORD and it will Grow

James 1
22. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24. and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

Personal Reflection:

I had deep conversation with my middle son, Marcus, which still resonates with me as I write this.

It is a parent’s dream to hear that their love, edification, and training have taken root.

As I sat down with him in the living room, I began to praise him, encouraging him to continue to stay grounded in his Faith, because he was called to serve the BODY of Christ as a Pastor. I wanted him to know that I have taken notice of his change, and that I appreciate all his help in the ministry.

I affirmed that his calling requires him to have a servant’s heart, even when it is an inconvenience to him.

Now, you may be thinking that my son is too young for me to have this kind of conversation, but he is not I assure you.

At the tender age of nine, the LORD called him to Salvation. The LORD supernaturally snatched my son out of the hands of the devil, in addition to generational curses stemming from his father’s side in a church service that was not calling anyone up to the altar.

The LORD compelled him to proclaim the sinner’s prayer aloud, causing all in attendance to weep. He had no physical coach to feed him what to say, but KING JESUS was there, leading him to the Cross.

From that moment on, many words of prophecy fell over my son, but it only confirmed the WORD that was given to me while he was still in the womb.

Today, at the age of 17, he has encountered many challenges in his life, because he was called, yet he chose to forsake it. He’d chosen to blend in to the system of this world, as well as the people in it, but always found himself being loved in appearance and hated inwardly.

Yesterday, he thanked me for the training that he has received from his youth. He stated, “I did not know that other children were not taught heavenly wisdom,” also confessing, “They don’t know what it means to genuinely love and care about others.”

He appreciated the way I taught him that knowledge is not enough; application and demonstration must follow it. He stated that he rebelled against me, because he knew that I was trying to teach him the right way, not just my way of living.

Last but not least, he knew why I never believed him when he pretended to change.

He said, “Mom all those times I told you I changed you didn't believe me, because I did not change the way I was thinking.” He said, “I was just trying to convince myself and then you.”

I say all this to point out that no man or woman of GOD is your judge, people of GOD. They are not on a high horse, looking down on you because they are all knowing. They are obedient.

I personally do not boast of myself, but the Christ that is in me is deserving of his GLORY.

It is a POWER that changes you from the inside out.

It is a POWER that says goodbye to the old and hello to the NEW.
There is nothing left of your old self when he is through with you.

1 Corinthians 1:31
Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

My son now recognizes my heart, and understands me on spiritual level, not a carnal one.

He has received a revelation from the LORD JESUS that Satan cannot take away.

He has matured into a young man that sees my instructions as freedom, and will not forget what he has heard, but will instead demonstrate it in his own life to be Blessed by what he does.

Never give up on your children.

Have a Great Weekend!

This is a TRUE WORD from the LORD, and it bears its Fruit!

Just Believe!

Psalm 37

23. If the Lord delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; 24. though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. 25.I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. 26.They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed. 27.Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever.28.For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones.

Activate the WORD

Our GOD is an Awesome GOD!

Those who wait and trust in the LORD are never disappointed. His Blessings bring no sorrow and HIS WORD is Everlasting!

Recite:
Everything that I declare out of my mouth will be.

I shall speak blessings over all situations, and seek the LORD for guidance, and will wait until he answers me. I will wait with expectancy in my heart, knowing that my Father loves me, and think good thoughts towards me.

I shall dwell in the shelter of the MOST HIGH
and will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

He is my refuge and my fortress.
I shall yield to his instructions, and lean not to my own understanding. I shall overcome every obstacle and all my plans will succeed, because I am sheep being led by the GOOD SHEPHERD in JESUS' name Amen!

Casting Stones

Beloved,

I know in times past we have associated Christianity with rules and regulations, but once you transition from creation to child, you see a new status emerging. You see a personal declaration of your Faith.

The world’s system of facilitating reprimand is not the same in the Kingdom of GOD.

We see this with those that are habitual drug offenders. They have become a subject of great debate in the government to win the war on drugs. So they win by giving them three strikes, and they're out.

This rule however, does not give them time to consider rehabilitating their minds to aspire beyond their circumstance.

Instead, they give them more regulations to follow, without much assistance. It chastens with no incentive to change.

Now don’t get me wrong, some offenders cannot be rehabilitated, as  some Saints cannot stop doing drugs and sinning, but GOD is still merciful.

I say all this to point out that if all you see is condemnation and rules in Christianity, you will never encounter the Jesus that loves to be set free. You will never encounter his grace and forgiveness, but most importantly, you will never perceive the KINGDOM of GOD.

The world’s system is condemnation, and they will cast the first stone. God’s system is conviction from within your own mind, heart, and will to bring about transformation.

Friend, if you have this viewpoint that the WORD of GOD is to condemn, then repent.

It is evident that you are condemned by refusing to cast stones of faith, hope, love, and forgiveness to weigh you down with the truth.

FYI: The Kingdom of GOD is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

John 8 Amp Bible

1.BUT JESUS went to the Mount of Olives.
2.Early in the morning (at dawn), He came back into the temple [[a]court], and the people came to Him in crowds. He sat down and was teaching them,
3.When the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery. They made her stand in the middle of the court and put the case before Him. 4.Teacher, they said, This woman has been caught in the very act of adultery. 5Now Moses in the Law commanded us that such [women--offenders] shall be stoned to death. But what do You say [to do with her--what is Your sentence]? 6.This they said to try (test) Him, hoping they might find a charge on which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger. 7.However, when they persisted with their question, He raised Himself up and said, Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her. 8.Then He bent down and went on writing on the ground with His finger. 9.They listened to Him, and then they began going out, conscience-stricken, one by one, from the oldest down to the last one of them, till Jesus was left alone, with the woman standing there before Him in the center of the court. 10. When Jesus raised Himself up, He said to her, Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you? 11. She answered, No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more.

Piercing Through

Beloved,

Often a cliche is a watered down version of the truth that is constantly being circulated to accommodate a void.

In this season, You will find that a cliche will not suffice. It is not pacifying the emptiness that you feel. It only encourages you to the end of the sentence, and then leaves you looking for more validation.

A cliche will not bring about the change that you need, or desire.

Only the WORD of the LORD is that powerful. Only the WORD of the LORD can lay a strong foundation. Only the WORD of the LORD can separate what is not profitable for your soul, and not beneficial for your future.

Seek the Father with a sincere heart, and a hunger to be filled, and he will Bless you with your portion in Jesus' Name! Amen!

Hebrews 4:12-16

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
