Update

Dear Friends,

We appreciate your support of the LORD's work, and pray that the WORD has encouraged you in some way in spite of your current circumstance, to Live Above the Influence.

We have a lot of projects in the works to reach the Body of Christ, and undiscovered children of GOD, and ask that you pray with us, to get it right for the LORD.

He is worthy of our best, and we are growing everyday, and not just in the things of GOD, but technical things as well.

We are excited, and look forward to sharing them with you.

Also, we were updating our site, and all subscriptions were deleted.

We do apologize, and have added new features that allow you to stay connected, and interact with us.

Run to the Rock! Part 1

2 Peter 2 20-22 NIV
If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.”

Beloved,

The scriptures above describe what is known as a backslider, a person that relapses to bad habits.

Habits are the patterns that were established in our lives before Christ, and keep us from experiencing sobriety in our Christian walk.

Habits are formed through many avenues in our lives, ranging from conception to birth. However, they do not have to have dominion over us.

You can master them, and not end up worse off than before, by simply exposing your weaknesses to GOD with a sincere heart.

Yes, Beloved, GOD knows these things about us already, because he is all knowing. With that said, you have a conscious and a subconscious that do not walk in agreement with one another.

Confession is a must.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Both do not have your best interest at heart. One will tell you that you can take a drink, or smoke this one time, or go to this party and so on, but then it turns into a habit. Too much liberty to your flesh, and now your old addiction is back in play. Your conscious is in denial, and your subconscious that acts as your hard drive, has you reacting to situations that in time past you were in control of; you’re cursing and arguing over trivial things.

And just like that you have strayed. You are wallowing in the mud of your yesterdays, and you’re living as if you have not known the goodness of the LORD. You are going back to what you gave up, just like the dog eating, vomiting, and then regurgitating what was laid out by his master.

It does not take much for these things to happen. Tragedy is an open door, constant disappointment by people or circumstances are open doors. And the next thing you know, your Faith is depleted by different entities that enable your immoral behavior.

It is permissible to have emotions, but is not beneficial to be entwined with your former thoughts, and behaviors. This is a sure sign that your heart is changing towards the righteousness of the LORD.

A relapse causes you to add to your list of things that need to be resurrected.

Let me assure you that nothing is impossible for those that believe, but your Faith is constantly being attacked by your mind when you backslide. You begin to wonder, did the conversion ever take place?

By GOD’s WORD the conversion took place, but you turned your back on the sacred command, which is, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Luke 10:27)

When the big bad wolf came to huff and puff and blow your house down, using all forms of calamity, you did not rely on the ROCK, which is the sure foundation of your Faith. Jesus Christ!

You did not look to Love, but instead to the world for comfort. You did not trust GOD to keep his WORD.

 “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
 

Nothing but the LOVE of GOD can heal all of your wounds, hidden and seen, old and new.

God does not change. His WORD is everlasting, and he is merciful.

I encourage you to seek the LORD in truth. Clean out your heart, ask GOD to exchange his heart for yours, his thoughts for yours, and his will. And really LOVE people from a sincere heart, because the truth of the matter, according to scripture, is if you do not love others, you cannot love yourself.

 
“Love your neighbor as yourself” Luke 10:27     

Make peace with GOD through prayer, and encourage even those that do not regard you well in love, and move to another level in him.

Then you will be perfect, just like the Father is perfect. (Matthew 5:48)

Higher In Love

Young People,

I'm praying for you. I love you and know that you are going to do mighty things for the LORD. Your past is history. Your present circumstances are in his hands. He is for you, even though at times you can be your own worst enemy.

The thing that will set you a part is your ability to take ownership for the wrong you have done. This is key, Friend!

If you look in the WORD you will find a King named Saul, that was insecure and refused to take ownership for his disobedience. This man cared more about the opinions of others, than the WORD of GOD. This caused him to be rejected by the LORD, and replaced as KING. His heart was hardened, and the spirit of jealousy had its way.

Also, you will find a man named David, who was not the KING, but was anointed to take the place of the KING. He was accustomed to doing all the dirty work as a shepherd boy, and his gifts and talents were over looked. David also disobeyed GOD on more than one occasion, but he took responsibility for his mess. He took his punishment and did not try to cause harm to others because of his own pain.

(Scriptural References 1 Samuel 15-18 & 2 Samuel 11-12)

God works with those that take accountability, this is how we grow. 
He will not resist you, because you're coming truthfully to the throne of Grace.

Thank the LORD, Saints, that he sees our hearts, and does not rely on what LOOKS good, but really isn't Good!

I can tell you that putting my heart before GOD has empowered me over the years to live above the influence. I do not sweat the small stuff, or the small people that hang around as spectators. In fact, I do what GOD has instructed me to do, which is be the EXAMPLE.

My Friend,

I want to give you a WORD that the LORD gave me as I was growing in his love.

1 Timothy 4
11.Command and teach these things. 12.Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 13.Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. 14.Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.15.Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. 16.Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

This has proven to work well for me in my 14 years of serving the LORD. I grew to be steadfast in his love. I grew without the appreciation of others, because I was called to be an EXAMPLE. It took three years to breakout of all the templates that was in my life, but GLORY to GOD his will was done. The rest was preparation and training.

I am in no way telling you this is an easy task, but in order to grow in proportion to his will, and not crookedly, you have to take accountability, and responsibility for your life, both spiritually and naturally to grow in his love, and to mature in knowledge, application and demonstration.

You are unique to the BODY of Christ, and we need you to take your place. Press into in his LOVE, Stay in his WORD, stay connected to a community of Believers that LOVE with correction, and wish you well as GOD is calling you higher in him.

I'm excited for you and praying God's best in your LIFE!

Unity in the Faith

It is my deepest desire to see this carried out in the Body Christ, but it is also my responsibility to demonstrate this myself.

We are trail blazers and can carry the burden of others, as well as do what GOD has called us to do with love and sincerity in our hearts. We are pillars of God's community for those  that have not found their footing, and by his grace we are able to reach our mark.

I am grieved to not see this being fulfilled in mega ministries, as well as global ministries on the rise. Their hearts are ripped with manipulation, but their words give the appearance of support. God demands action in the Body of Christ in regards to our Brothers and Sisters.

We are no different than the world, by using others to gain the top position. I see this more and more and GOD is saying, "Enough."

Leaders get in line, Body of Christ rise up out of your own muck and mire and reach back for your own. Reach back as Christ has done for you in your constant backslidden state.

Yes, Beloved, I am afraid that you have backslidden from the genuine love of GOD that requires you to be a stepping stone for others. Yes, I am afraid that your own regrets have caused you to compete with those you were called to help.

I am not saying that your time is not now; I am saying that your time to serve is more important. I am declaring, that you are not the image of Christ in mind, heart and will.

Each portion that GOD has given us, has been set aside before the foundation of this world, this is not the fable of the, “Three Little Bears.”

We are all unique in the eyes of GOD, and it is by his Spirit that he gives us grace to administer his will here on earth.

Love people of GOD. Be deep-spirited friends to one another. Encourage each other, and put aside jealousy, envy and pride.

If not, you will stay wounded in your mind, heart, and will, even though you hide behind cosmetics and worldly attributes.

Repent! and Rise!

Rise! To be what GOD has called you to be, his Disciples.

We have to reach unity in the Faith, but the unity is not peace, but equality. Each person being regarded the same and respected for their occupation in the Body.

Selah!

John 13 34-35"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

An Encouraging WORD

My Young Brethren,

Look to Jesus for your strength, encouragement, and wisdom. Trust that his love will send someone across your path to give you a boost of confidence to stay on the narrow path.

I know the generations before us failed us. They are still struggling to find the Jesus that loves, still trying to get delivered and set free from the cares of this world, but GLORY to GOD he is raising us to be front-line warriors.

Keep your heart right, and do not look for men to esteem you.
GOD has his hand upon your life, and it is seen among men.

I encourage you to flee from carnality and compromise; it’s like kryptonite to our Faith.

I know it has been bumpy at times, uneven at times, but GOD is making the crooked paths straight.

Keep his love as your foundation.

You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus; you are his workmanship. And though your youthfulness may be despised, it will work to your advantage.

Jude 1 KJV
20. But you, beloved, building up yourselves in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
