1 John 3 Amplified Bible
18 Little children (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words]. 19 By this we will know [without any doubt] that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart and quiet our conscience before Him 20 whenever our heart convicts us [in guilt]; for God is greater than our heart and He knows all things [nothing is hidden from Him because we are in His hands].
I am always baffled by how those who claim to be Believers just throw around scriptures without actually knowing what it means. They have no connection to the Holy Spirit only the letter of the law. I personally do not walk in love with those that have a form of godliness. In fact, the WORD specifically directs us to turn away from such folks. I am respectful and cordial but there is nothing to be in a agreement with someone who knows and willfully chooses to do what is unpleasing in the sight of GOD. When one walks in love they are fully aware of how their own actions, and words can impact the lives of someone else, especially a fellow believer. In essence, walking in love means walking in the truth (Jesus) that set you free. Our hearts are convicted even before we surrender to our flesh. Therefore, walking around being a spokesman without actually believing in the goods makes you a fraud. So the next time your love walk is questioned or you question the walk of someone else, I encourage you to do an inventory of your own heart, and seek GOD for the TRUTH, because he already knows where your love gauge is set.

2 Timothy 3
1.But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2.People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3.without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4.treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5.having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
