"Sometimes it's good to wish someone else well" Vonnie Jay

My Response:
I don't think I could function in my day to day without doing that.

Jesus did that for the least one to the greatest.

The woman that was caught in adultery sticks out to me. Everyone around her wanted blood. They wanted her to be judged by her act and the sentenced carried out by their hands...Wow..now you know they were not wishing her well.

Jesus, stepped in and said, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

It is in that moment I knew she was relieved that someone cared about her circumstance.

Jesus wished her well by saying,
John 8:11 “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

Wishing someone well can be counted as many things, but I see it as wanting the best for that person, even if the best is not happening for you. It's saying yes you can do it, I'm proud of you, or you made a mistake but lets move on in a different direction.

The people that can not muster up a prayer, or stand in agreement with you are defeated in their own faith. They can not grasp genuine love, or sincerity.

Saints,

I encourage you to get out of your own rut and cheer for someone else, by doing this you will grow more in his image.
