LET THE WORD PAVE THE WAY IN 2015

John 12 Amp Bible
25 Anyone who loves his life loses it, but anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. [Whoever has no love for, no concern for, no regard for his life here on earth, but despises it, preserves his life forever and ever. 26 If anyone serves Me, he must continue to follow Me [to cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying] and wherever I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

There are a lot of people that proclaim how good GOD is, yet they have never experienced his goodness in its totality, only crumbs. They claim they know him and love him, yet they do not know his son Jesus in a personal way. They do not represent Christ in character, conversation, or action. They are following their own path and doing their own thing on Death Row Street. Do you know anyone like that?

I woke up this morning asking GOD, “What must I say to your people? It is the last Sunday of 2014, what must I say?”

I do not know about you, but for me, a WORD from heaven is a WORD that will protect, direct, deliver, prepare, create, expose, bless, chastise, rebuke, and correct. It is by his WORD that there was light on the earth, and by his WORD he separated light from darkness, gave it a name, and defined it to be the day and the evening. HE defined its PURPOSE. HALLELUJAH!

Friends, we need a WORD from GOD that will not just change our lives, but transform our lives for his PURPOSE. AMEN! ONLY GOD can make the crooked paths straight and the roads smooth in our lives. ONLY GOD can take an addict off the street and deliver him to live in a mansion. ONLY GOD can heal broken families, and provide for those that are truly in need. ONLY GOD can give you peace in your heart, mind, and soul. You know what I’m talking about! It’s that place, that pain you try to hide from those around you every day. It’s that place where people, places and things are used to appease you; you know what I’m talking about! GOD, GOD, GOD is what I have to preach about today. HIS WORD, HIS METHOD, and HIS PLAN for your life so you can be truly free, so you can truly know WHY JESUS died that terrible death for you on Calvary.

It is his WORD for your life that matters, not negative Nancy, not your past that may be written on some computer screen, or the one that haunts you daily. “GOD’s WORD is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrew 4:12) IT IS A WAY MAKER!

Do you not perceive it?

As we enter into 2015, we can no longer overlook the apparent flaws that plague us or others. You see, flaws vary. Some are not as obvious as others because they can only be seen when they are exposed by the light. For example: over the holiday, I went to purchase a few things from a few nice stores to add some elegance to our Christmas dinner. Some of the things I purchased were in a box and therefore I could not see if they were put together properly, and other things I had a store representative pick out for me, so I did not have to waste time. It’s called free in-store pick up. I ended up returning quite a few items because the flaws were too obvious. In fact, the defects on some of them should not have passed inspection to leave the warehouse or wherever they came from. My point is I wasted more time trying to save time. If I had opened up a few boxes or picked the items out myself I would have succeeded in my goal.

What are you overlooking in your life regarding yourself, friends, family members, or on job that is costing you MORE than you ever expected to give? I had a few things that were still not quite perfect, but they were bearable.

Friends, I know we have flaws, but there are flaws that are detrimental to our quality of life. Some people are still struggling with the same mess from two years ago and have dismissed the WORD of GOD regarding their situation.

Flaw: “a mistake or fault in something that makes it useless or less effective”-Macmillian dictionary

I do not know about you, but my flaws do not make me useless or less effective. In fact, it is my flaws that cause me to humble myself before the mighty hand of GOD in the Grace and Mercy of JESUS standing in the gap to allow him to shape them for his good use. AMEN! IT IS the WORK of the Cross that Jesus so willingly gave his life for, for US to be flawed and then perfected in his image if we so choose to follow him with all of our heart, soul, and mind. It’s the Cross of Jesus that we must pick up every day to be free from the flaws of the natural man, and the sinful man. It is the Cross that frees us from the control of the Devil. It’s JESUS that redeems us from it all.

Do you know him? Can you hear him? What WORD has sprouted up in your life and do you bear the fruit of it? Is the WORD of GOD or your words, your thoughts, your ways? How does the word you receive on SUNDAY, change you daily to be more like JESUS. What you sow in 2015, you will reap.

Friends,
God’s message this morning is to simply ALLOW the WORD to work by hearing and doing what the WORD SAYS…nothing more. DO NOT add your own twist to it or the philosophy of this age, or the troubles of the world that you may face. Let GOD be the Conductor of your train in 2015 to receive the promises in his WORD and be at peace, full of his JOY, and full of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Matthew 13 Msg Bible
18-19 “Study this story of the farmer planting seed. When anyone hears news of the kingdom and doesn’t take it in, it just remains on the surface, and so the Evil One comes along and plucks it right out of that person’s heart. This is the seed the farmer scatters on the road.20-21 “The seed cast in the gravel—this is the person who hears and instantly responds with enthusiasm. But there is no soil of character, and so when the emotions wear off and some difficulty arrives, there is nothing to show for it. 22 “The seed cast in the weeds is the person who hears the kingdom news, but weeds of worry and illusions about getting more and wanting everything under the sun strangle what was heard, and nothing comes of it. 23 “The seed cast on good earth is the person who hears and takes in the News, and then produces a harvest beyond his wildest dreams.”

Who are you?

Beloved,
If you have a heart for GOD and a desire to be refined and defined by him alone, he will do it. You have heard the GOOD NEWS and it will produce more than you could ever ask or dream of.

To all my Brothers and Sisters that have been on their knees, crying out to GOD for change, it is coming, but be mindful that our ways are not GOD’s ways and he uses what methods he deems fit to bring it forth.

I must say, it was a beautiful year filled with many challenges and disappointments, but I still raise my Flag of Faith and Redemption, knowing that The Lord is my shepherd, and I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet waters and refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

LORD, I Declare and Decree your promises will be activated and fruitful in the lives of your children in 2015. We shall see you LORD, and be filled with your righteousness. Our names confessed before you, and we will be given rest from our troubles, from our past, and our minds. We shall be fully converted, saved, received, and redeemed by Christ JESUS, no more back and forth. We will serve CHRIST as we serve others and know he will be with us in all things. We will give you our best, and do great things for the KINGDOM, and OUR requests both great and small will be granted in Jesus Name Amen.

Honor Your WORD

Isaiah 55 Amplified Bible
8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

As I look back on 2014, I have seen every word I declared out of my mouth come to pass. I have accomplished everything that I set out to do, and completed every assignment the LORD put before me. I went forward with the plans the LORD put before me while dealing with various hardships, knowing that the LORD’s promises would spring forth at the right time. I’ve dealt with betrayal by those that claim the Faith, yet I kept my focus on Jesus.  My Faith, my call, and my purpose are not contingent upon a few immature Christians.  It was already predetermined before the foundation of this world in CHRIST JESUS, so no one or NO thing could ever separate me from my First Love.

DO you not perceive it for your own life? Shake off the hurt and put it before Jesus to be at peace with yourself and others.

Friends, I am entering in 2015 satisfied with what I have done. I have no regrets. I gave my very best to GOD, myself, and to others.

Are you satisfied with what you have accomplished in 2014? Do you feel fulfilled or are you restless?

So many people today do not honor their word. It’s always conditional to something else. They are often lazy, selfish or just rebellious.  They cannot look past their own circumstances to see what GOD is doing. GOD does things in a BIG WAY! It is never isolated, and it always results in a Greater Impact than what the devil intended, because The LORD is Faithful in his WORD. He never rescinds.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.”

Friends,
There are people who are praying and asking GOD to fulfill this or to do that, yet they have not given GOD anything to work with. They have not kept their word that they have spoken to others, nor did they do anything GOD asked them to do. In fact, anything they said they wanted to do for themselves has fallen by the wayside too.  Our words are Powerful. They can Build or tear down. They can Activate or hinder. They Encourage or discourage. They can go out and PROSPER in the things in which we send them.

The LORD is Faithful to those who are Faithful to him. He doesn’t lower his standards or break his rules for us. He sets the mark, and we have to reach it.

I encourage us all to make things right before the New Year, so we can start 2015 off by spreading WORDS that Give Life. We must prioritize our lives by making the LORD the Author and Finisher of our Faith. When we Honor our word, GOD will Honor his. Selah!

#Honor&Obey

Hebrews 6:1 Amplified Bible
Therefore let us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which you turned] to God,

BE BLESSED

Good Morning!

You know this is the time of the year when everyone feels so cheery and blessed. I mean even the meanest person takes a holiday during the Christmas Season.

As I look back on many years I can say that I am Blessed. I'm not Blessed because of the things, or because of my family or friends. I'm Blessed because I'm free. I'm Blessed because I have Joy that cannot be bought or bargained with. I'm Blessed because I have Peace and Love flowing like a river in my heart. I'm Blessed in Faith!

Friends, as you proclaim your Blessings this season include the characteristics of GOD that should be on full display. Jesus did not just die for those that loved him; he died for those that also prosecuted him.

Selah!

Luke 6
20.Looking at his disciples, he said:
“Blessed are you who are poor,
for yours is the kingdom of God.
21. Blessed are you who hunger now,
for you will be satisfied.
Blessed are you who weep now,
for you will laugh.
22. Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man.
23.“Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.

Don't Give UP

Good Morning!

You know I never take the easy road and at times I'll say, "This is not what I signed up for," yet I continue to Press through. I press through because Quitting is not an option. I'm not hardwired to Give Up. In fact, I was created to persevere and to overcome all adversity with the joy of the Lord as my strength and his wisdom as my guide to ensure that I don't look like, sound like, or act like I've been through anything. We all were!

Friends, the circumstances of life are not supposed to rob you of your joy or your Faith. Instead, it is a tool to expose and strengthen the areas you are weak in, and then catapult you into your destiny.

The most difficult times in my life help me to gain significant distance and perspective which are needed to protect your blind side.

As you carry on this week and throughout the remainder of the year, "Declare that you will not Give UP on your Faith which is the heartbeat to your life!"

I'm praying for you.

Romans 5 Msg Bible
3-5 There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

Give Thanks

Good Morning!

I pray your Thanksgiving is filled with love, laughter and hope.

I woke up this morning thinking about my middle son whom I have not seen in quite a while. As a parent I feel helpless, as a Pastor I know the path he has chosen will eventually humble him to come home as a servant. I know that GOD's WORDS will not return to him in void, but sprout up from many seasons of prayer, and prophesies of a son that would be a leader in the Kingdom of GOD.

Are you missing a loved one this holiday season? Do you feel hopeless and/or helpless regarding your situation? I Encourage you to remain in Hope, in fact bask in it as if it was your favorite fragrance, knowing that the goodness of our LORD is flowing freely this season. I know you will come face to face with your Beloved and all the matters of the past will be no more. The only thing that will remain is the embracing moment of what was lost and the hope that lies ahead.

Rejoice today my Brothers and Sisters and Give thanks unto the LORD. Give thanks for what you have or don’t have this season.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Colossians 3:15 Amp Bible
15 And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

Align Your Life with GOD

Psalm 147 Net Bible
14.He brings peace to your territory.
He abundantly provides for you the best grain.
15.He sends his command through the earth;
swiftly his order reaches its destination.

The LORD gave me a word in June called the Halfway Point. How many are seeing the fruit of that message? I am going to post it below. I see wonderful things for the Body of Christ in 2015, but we must prioritize our lives, and release unnecessary burdens. We must declare Jesus as the LORD over our lives.

IT'S THE HALFWAY POINT!

I went out to walk my 16 miles, and decided to walk a different route. I noticed how much shade there was, and how many trees gave off a breeze to cool you even on the hottest day of the Summer.

The LORD begin to speak about the significance of June, and how the number 6 symbolizes man in his human weakness, the evils of Satan, and the manifestation of sin in the Bible. Man was created on the sixth day.

The LORD showed me that since the beginning of January, every thing he had me share has come to pass in his children's lives one way or another if they did not draw CLOSER TO HIM.

I did not make a New Years Resolution, but I committed to AFFIRMING GOD's WORD in my life, and what I wanted to accomplish and overcome. MY WORDS came back Accomplished to the very detail.

So Again, as I was walking I noticed the shade, enticed by it's relief and comfort. I reared off the path that I was on, just then, I noticed I was walking in the wrong direction. I hurried to get back across the street to be at peace. The LORD said, "Stay the course, the path I have you on will provide comfort, and relief when needed; until then I will be your STRENGTH to get you through the rough patches for you to succeed." I was Ecstatic! This message is for anyone who chooses to stay the path that GOD has laid out for them to follow at all cost. This path is often the most challenging, but is paved with gifts from above, both spiritual and natural.

I walked a little more and came across some Donkeys and Cows. They were all huddled together, but one Donkey locked its eyes on me and started following me while in his pen. He suddenly stopped in frustration, wagging his head back and forth and glaring at me as I carried on.

The LORD said, "These are the people that choose to stay limited, when I have shown them the IMPOSSIBLE!" He said, "ALL those that have not come to a place of trust in me at the halfway point will continue to wag their head, stomp their feet, and stay stagnant, spiritually, mentally and physically, because they are looking for an inward solution when they NEED MY DIVINE INTERVENTION.

The cows represented those that are lukewarm. They have not fully committed either way, and continue to look for signs and wonders, when action is needed. They have no direction in their lives and are only maintaining the bare essentials.

If you are STILL STRUGGLING with sin, an addiction of any kind, emotional issues, financial issues, family issues, career issues, weight/health issues, and or relationship issues; I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you commit them to GOD this month.

The LORD said, "THIS is the HALFWAY POINT, anything you're holding on to that will keep you WEAK and DOING things your WAY; Will REMAIN A STRUGGLE for you this year.

Psalm 35 5-6 Msg Bible
Open up before God, keep nothing back;
he’ll do whatever needs to be done:
He’ll validate your life in the clear light of day
and stamp you with approval at high noon.

DECLARE: GOD IS GREATER

"‘Cause I hear a voice and He calls me redeemed
When others say I’ll never be enough
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world
In the world
In the world
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world

Bring your doubts
Bring your fears
Bring your hurt
Bring your tears
There’ll be no condemnation here
You are holy, righteous and redeemed

Every time I fall
There’ll be those who will call me
A mistake
Well that’s ok

There’ll be days I lose the battle
Grace says that it doesn’t matter
‘Cause the cross already won the war
He’s Greater
He’s Greater" By MercyME

DECLARE Your Courage TODAY in Jesus Name

LORD, you Make ME BRAVE!

"As Your love, in wave after wave
Crashes over me, crashes over me
For You are for us
You are not against us
Champion of Heaven
You made a way for all to enter in

VERSE 2:
I have heard You calling my name
I have heard the song of love that You sing
So I will let You draw me out beyond the shore
Into Your grace
Your grace

BRIDGE:
You make me brave
You make me brave
You call me out beyond the shore into the waves
You make me brave

You are Enough in GOD

Beloved,

You are NOT damaged goods. Your situation may not be ideal, but it's not permanent. Look to the Father, feel the love of Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to make you anew. Jehovah - Rapha still has You in his hands. Selah

Isaiah 45 18-24 Message Bible
This God says:
“I am God,
the one and only.
I don’t just talk to myself
or mumble under my breath.
I never told Jacob,
‘Seek me in emptiness, in dark nothingness.’
I am God. I work out in the open,
saying what’s right, setting things right.
So gather around, come on in,
all you refugees and castoffs.
They don’t seem to know much, do they—
those who carry around their no-god blocks of wood,
praying for help to a dead stick?
So tell me what you think. Look at the evidence.
Put your heads together. Make your case.
Who told you, and a long time ago, what’s going on here?
Who made sense of things for you?
Wasn’t I the one? God?
It had to be me. I’m the only God there is—
The only God who does things right
and knows how to help.
So turn to me and be helped—saved!—
everyone, whoever and wherever you are.
I am God,
the only God there is, the one and only.
I promise in my own name:
Every word out of my mouth does what it says.
I never take back what I say.
Everyone is going to end up kneeling before me.
Everyone is going to end up saying of me,
‘Yes! Salvation and strength are in God!’”

Happy Friday!

Have a Wonderful Weekend All! I will not be posting a message this Sunday, unless the LORD changes his mind. I will be fellow-shipping with another church.

I have also embarked on a new journey as a college student, and know that the LORD has chosen this career path for me, because it lines up with what I do now. I'm excited about becoming a Registered Dietitian and plan to specialize in sports nutrition. However, I am always open to God's plan for my life. Please be patient with me as I hope to have someone soon work along side me.

May the LORD be with you in all things, guiding you to safety, and spiritual prosperity. May you have an ear to hear, a heart for change, and the courage needed to move on from where you're at, in Jesus Name Amen.

Gratitude

Psalm 95:1-2 NIV
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

Grateful –feeling or showing thanks to someone for some helpful act.

I am somebody who observes even the most insignificant gestures to measure the hearts of others. I believe a kind word goes much further than a hundred dollars, and a prayer is just priceless.  For example:  if I have something on my face and a friend points it out, or if I’m short on funds and a friend offers to cover my lunch. How we relate to others is a direct reflection of our relationship with GOD. It’s a front row to our own real life stories, in which others are casted for feature roles. Our emotions, actions, and our true intentions or motives have a way of slipping out if we are not upfront with who we are.

The title of today’s message is gratitude, because being grateful is not just a moment by moment act or feeling, but rather a synopsis of your character.

One of the people in the Bible that comes to mind is Jonah. On the surface, he fit the profile of a grateful and obedient servant, yet he was far from it. He was a coward who lacked compassion and was selfish. The task that the LORD gave him was to go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against its wickedness, but Jonah decided to run instead. His actions brought a violent storm down upon the captain and his crew at sea. Then, when he finally submitted to GOD, he became angry at GOD for showing compassion to the city that turned from their evil ways, and prayed to him.

I’m amazed by the very people that say they know GOD, but do not LOVE like GOD. If our desire is to convey our own message, then we must stop calling ourselves Christians, or identify ourselves as any sort of leader within the Body of Christ.  GOD’s message is one that unites us to Christ by believing that he died for our sins. How can one be grateful for salvation for themselves, but not grateful or thankful for others? This train of thought does not line up with the track Christ laid for us with His lifestyle, nor does it follow the path marked by the blood He lovingly shed for us on the cross.

Jonah 4

1.But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry. 2. He prayed to the Lord, “Isn’t this what I said, Lord, when I was still at home? That is what I tried to forestall by fleeing to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity. 3. Now, Lord, take away my life, for it is better for me to die than to live.”
4. But the Lord replied, “Is it right for you to be angry?”

Friends, I do not know about you, but I am always grateful for the compassion that the LORD shows to others. His mercy never runs out, enduring even a marathon of sins. Even when I am wronged by others, I hope that the LORD is just regarding them.

As you can see, Jonah was such a bitter man on the inside, and therefore could not operate out of compassion. His prayer reeks of it.

5. Jonah had gone out and sat down at a place east of the city. There he made himself a shelter, sat in its shade and waited to see what would happen to the city. 6. Then the Lord God provided a leafy plant and made it grow up over Jonah to give shade for his head to ease his discomfort, and Jonah was very happy about the plant. 7. But at dawn the next day God provided a worm, which chewed the plant so that it withered. 8. When the sun rose, God provided a scorching east wind, and the sun blazed on Jonah’s head so that he grew faint. He wanted to die, and said, “It would be better for me to die than to live.”
9.But God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?”
It is,” he said. “And I’m so angry I wish I were dead.”
10. But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. 11.And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?”

Friends,
The message that GOD gave Jonah for the city of Nineveh was also for him, but he missed it during as well as after the assignment was fulfilled. How many today are just like Jonah? Are you? They’re having pity parties instead of doing the work GOD called them to do. They are evaluating and qualifying themselves for certain assignments, yet their hearts are too small for the job at hand. They are hiding, pretending they have it all figured out, when the truth reveals their life as an example of what not to do.

As the end of the year approaches, I encourage us all to sing our own stories unto the LORD with reverence, gratefulness, and humility, so our stories may be a reflection of God’s grace, instead of being his example.

Colossians 3 Msg Bible
15-17 Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.

Sunday Morning with Pastor Aisha

Romans 6:4
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

This morning I will be on the conference line from 10-10:30 am CST for anyone that wants to unburden their heart to begin to experience GOD through Jesus in a new way.

My message will be posted later on today, and it will be about Jonah.

Nothing is Final with Yahweh

Friends,

Our Faith in God can not be maintained by stopping and staring again with the Master's Plan. We're either in or out. We can't have it both ways to get results.

It's time to Power UP!

Galatians 3:3 Msg Bible
2-4 Let me put this question to you: How did your new life begin? Was it by working your heads off to please God? Or was it by responding to God’s Message to you? Are you going to continue this craziness? For only crazy people would think they could complete by their own efforts what was begun by God. If you weren’t smart enough or strong enough to begin it, how do you suppose you could perfect it? Did you go through this whole painful learning process for nothing? It is not yet a total loss, but it certainly will be if you keep this up!

Power Up

Matthew 13:22
The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Sunday's Message

I am always amazed at the multitude of ways in which the LORD sometimes chooses to deliver his messages to me. While I’m going through them I can spiritually see them materialize, and feel the emotions intensify as each piece is revealed.

This past Friday was an eventful one to say the least. I woke up with aspirations of celebrating my eighth wedding anniversary, as well as reserving time to take a ride on my beautiful new road bike. However, I first had to take my youngest to school. I went to start the vehicle, to no avail. I turned the ignition again, hoping it would turn over, and it still did nothing. Well, this meant Micah was going to be late for the first time since school began. I wrote his teacher a note before walking him to school.  I started to feel the excitement begin to dwindle down. When I returned, I connected the charger to the battery and decided to go for a ride. I rode my bike for 12.6 miles, and came back more excited than before.  I got myself together, and started my day. My goal was to put the morning behind me, and focus on what was ahead. My first stop was the bike shop to have a few things upgraded. Friends, I was on cloud nine! Things were beginning to appear rosy, until I went to start the car again. More weeds beginning to appear, with hopes to ruin my day. I was beside myself! I called my insurance company to have someone come out to give me a jump, and it took two hours. The first gentleman lied, claiming he did not see me in the parking lot, while the other man received the call later than what I was initially told. So many things were going through my mind. I was upset that what I had planned was delayed or cancelled due to a battery that would not stay charged. My day seemed ruined! Finally, a gentleman from the bike shop came out and offered to help, by then roadside assistance showed up, and got me going.

Friends, I noticed five types of people while I was in need.

1. The people that just don’t care.
2. The people that appear to be able to help you, but don’t have the tools needed to assist you in a practical manner.
3. The people that offer help, because they feel obligated or guilty.
4. The people that say they will, but never follow through.
5. The people that show up after they meet their own needs, but you’ve already handled the problem.

As I drove off the LORD said, “Do you see the message?”

Friends, I had lights, music, and an expensive beautiful bike on the back of my SUV, but without a battery that’s fully charged and efficient, I was unable to leave from where I was on my own.

In what way are you stuck today? Is it in a job? Is it a relationship? Is it a business deal? Perhaps it was some career path that was chosen out of what you could make, but not what you’re actually gifted to do. Do you find yourself rehashing the past, or making the same mistakes in different areas of your life? Do you feel like you want to change, but don’t know how? All of this comes from not being connected to GOD through Jesus to supply you with an endless life source to keep you up, and living efficiently.

When we base our Faith off of the examples of others, we often do not receive the proper instructions on how to develop a healthy relationship with GOD to get us to the next level in him. EX: Those that grew up in church observing conduct that did not line up with the WORD.

What one will begin to do is add, twist, and compare themselves to various people in the Bible to give allowances for their conduct. However, they do so in error. The men and women in the Bible are to be used as examples, not templates; they've lived their lives, and paid their sin debt. We are to strive to reach the standard that GOD has set for us alone through Christ.

My question to you today is this: Do you need a charge from GOD or a whole new way to approach him, which is through Jesus Christ? (Not your friends, your parents, your spouse, Pastor or Church Leaders)

You need to go to the source to be filled by the Holy Spirit to start moving in the direction you’re supposed to be going. You've been on Standby too long. GOD will show up when he is supposed to, because there’s things going on in your life that need PROFESSIONAL ATTENTION, and your momma is not an expert in Healing and Deliverance.  JESUS IS! Your Friends don’t know how to stick closer than a BROTHER, but JESUS does. Your spouse can’t love you right now like Christ loves the Church, but the LORD said HE so LOVED the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Your Help will come from the LORD when you start seeking the Kingdom of GOD, and his RIGHTEOUSNESS. NOT Things. Not People. Not Drugs, Attention or Validation.

He is waiting, and he is ready to replace your heart and your spirit with his.

2 Corinthians 5 Msg Bible
14-15 Our firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.
16-20 Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you.

A Simple Prayer:
LORD, please forgive me for hearing, and not doing. I’m ready to develop a relationship with you. I’m ready to trust you, and live my life for. I say goodbye to my old ways of approaching you, and applying my own version of faith to my troubles, and circumstances. I know now that you and you alone are my rock, my fortress and my deliverer, in whom I take refuge. You are my shield and the horn of my salvation, and I shall not be afraid in Jesus Name Amen.

Faith, Endurance, and Obedience

Today's Message:

Faith, Endurance, and Obedience

I was asked to give a Testimony of my Faith at a Women's Conference in Long Branch, NJ in 2011. I Pray that these words Empower you to live for your future, instead of your past.

GOD IS Sovereign; and no demon can contend with his plans.

On the last day of my trip a young woman gave her life to the LORD.

Let us seek the Kingdom of GOD in all things.

My Speech:

Faith, Endurance, and Obedience.

I want you to know that Faith is activating the Power of GOD to show up and produce results in your life.

My Faith came from Finally Achieving Integrity through Healing, and that Healing was through the Power and Love of Jesus Christ. My Strength (in being a teenage mother, homeless, losing four loved ones in one year among the lost my own child), came from my Belief that GOD IS in spite of my circumstance.

This I found in Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'.15. God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

GOD saw the suffering of the Israelites for forty years, and one day chose a vessel that was wanted for murder, and had a speech impediment to bring them to a land full of milk and honey because of a promise he spoke to Abraham.

HE IS in spite of________________!!!

This profound revelation and renewed mind produced perseverance in experiencing long suffering, and opposition that life presented me, and through it, obedience was cultivated by the WORD and perfected in me through Faith in GOD to give me an Abundant Life in Christ Jesus, who cried out, "It is finished!" on the Cross for you and I.

Paul told the Romans 5 3-5 NIV
Romans 5: 3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4. perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

I don’t know the height or depth of your mountain, or how far or behind you are in getting to the top to reach your dream, your next job, your next business, your next level in life, or your next healing and deliverance, but I can tell you that my stilettos have seen the top of my mountain, and Faith was there to congratulate me.

I've never prayed for wealth. I've never prayed for anything monetary in gain, I only prayed for what was needed. I've prayed daily to be set free from the prince of this world to emerge unique in every way.

Now from my view, I see more mountains that I want to climb, and their heights are higher, their depths are more profound, but I've changed my attire, my attitude, even my shoes, to go conquer it in the Name of Jesus.

I want you to know that you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus; you are a Deborah, David, Peter, and Timothy in your own right and capable of leading others into their destiny.

It takes one minute to confess Christ, one minute to decide enough is enough, one minute to decide ain't no mountain high enough, one minute to put on your shoes, and one minute to steady your pace up your mountain.

That’s a total of Five minutes to have Faith Empower you to do what somebody said you could not do.

Don’t let your mountain speak to you, speak to your mountain. Don’t let your mountain change your perspective, or affect your self-esteem.

Don’t let your mountain keep you from being in Christ, doing everything he has called you to do. Don’t allow fear to defeat you when GOD is trying to bring out the Best in you.

In conclusion, in Christ we can do all things, but without him our mountains are steep. There are wolves hiding in sheep's clothing that will devour us. The terrain is rocky, but with him we can walk through the valley of the shadow of death unscathed.

Friends, God's WORD does not return to him in void, but it is fulfilled in the entity to which he sent it to.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Be Well in Jesus Name!

Grateful

This morning I woke up with a grateful heart, not because things could be worse, but because I have the POWER to choose how I receive, process, and navigate through what's happening right now in my life. This does not mean I am not grateful daily, but my spirit is in tune with GOD on another level. I'm unfazed by all that is going on around me to have more than a feeling, but a connection with the spirit of gratitude.

EX: You give a friend a ride to work every day, or you're the one receiving the ride, and the gesture was always expressed with words, coffee, or gas money. Well today, your friend informs you that their schedule has changed at work and it will be impossible for them to drop you off and get to work on time. You tell them you understand, but inwardly you’re upset and you feel that they can do it, even if they have to be inconvenienced. They even follow-up with you to see if all is well, and your tone has changed towards them.
How quick are we to forget what our family and friends have done for us already? How quick are we to forget the goodness of the LORD, when things are not going our way?

Friends, we must be grateful for all that we receive, because help is given when it is needed, not when we take advantage of it or have the means to do for ourselves.

Today: I'm Grateful that my Hope is in the LORD, and that my feet are grounded in his WORD. I know Goodness, and Mercy will surely follow me.

Friends, your Attitude and Conduct can make all the difference. Selah

Colossians 2 Amp Bible
6.As you have therefore received Christ, [even] Jesus the Lord, [so] walk (regulate your lives and conduct yourselves) in union with and conformity to Him.
7 Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.

There is Healing in Forgiveness

Today's Message

Romans 2:12 Amp Bible
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

What is it that you desire of the LORD?

Do you not know that every petition you bring before him has to meet his criteria before you receive it? You are asking for favor in a situation, yet you have not shown any to others. You desire healing from past hurts, yet you harbor bitter feelings.

Friends, holding on to un-forgiveness is a sure way for you prayers to go unanswered. I woke up early this morning to write a message about healing, and nothing would flow. It seems that Change is needed to be healed. Some of you may think that healing is automatic when you confess Christ, and for many it is. However, for many it is a struggle when they hold on to the very thing that Jesus Christ gave so freely to those that believe…forgiveness.

I know it is hard, but your life should not be a library of the most awful things that one can imagine. You have to look past the story to get the message, and be the change you desired once upon a time.

I have learned to take the good, and the bad, and categorize it according to the purpose and plans of GOD for my life. I refused to allow the ugliness to define me.

Below is one of my favorite passages in the bible on the subject, because it points out the lack of compassion, and the inability to self-reflect.

Matthew 18 Msg Bible
21 At that point Peter got up the nerve to ask, “Master, how many times do I forgive a brother or sister who hurts me? Seven?”22 Jesus replied, “Seven! Hardly. Try seventy times seven. 23-25 “The kingdom of God is like a king who decided to square accounts with his servants. As he got under way, one servant was brought before him who had run up a debt of a hundred thousand dollars. He couldn’t pay up, so the king ordered the man, along with his wife, children, and goods, to be auctioned off at the slave market. 26-27 “The poor wretch threw himself at the king’s feet and begged, ‘Give me a chance and I’ll pay it all back.’ Touched by his plea, the king let him off, erasing the debt. 28 “The servant was no sooner out of the room when he came upon one of his fellow servants who owed him ten dollars. He seized him by the throat and demanded, ‘Pay up. Now!’ 29-31 “The poor wretch threw himself down and begged, ‘Give me a chance and I’ll pay it all back.’ But he wouldn’t do it. He had him arrested and put in jail until the debt was paid. When the other servants saw this going on, they were outraged and brought a detailed report to the king. 32-35 “The king summoned the man and said, ‘You evil servant! I forgave your entire debt when you begged me for mercy. Shouldn’t you be compelled to be merciful to your fellow servant who asked for mercy?’ The king was furious and put the screws to the man until he paid back his entire debt. And that’s exactly what my Father in heaven is going to do to each one of you who doesn’t forgive unconditionally anyone who asks for mercy.”

Right now, you should be doing an inventory of your life, and seeking the face of GOD to change how you manage the injustice, hurt, and betrayal from others, because as long as you’re on this side of the living, you will always need to forgive.

The LORD desires for you to be healed today. Do you not perceive it?

A Simple Prayer:
LORD, I have been carrying around years of un-forgiveness, and guilt. I ask that you forgive me for not releasing those things to you, and believing in the power of forgiveness. I release every hurt to you today. I release every behavior associated with holding on to un-forgiveness, and guilt. I release every person to you, and know that you are the author and finisher of my Faith. I believe I Am Forgiven. I believe I AM Healed, and Delivered from the spirit of un-forgivess. I Declare and Decree Freedom in the Holy Spirit, over my mind, and my heart, in Jesus Name Amen.

Day 2: Change Equals Opportunity

Jeremiah 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Change is a word that is difficult for many people to accept. It can be a positive means for some, and a negative means for others. However, the universal fact is that change is brought about by opportunity and courage. EX: If you pray for a new job, but you're late everyday for the one you're currently have, have you not missed an opportunity? Change is not contingent on what's new. Change is about addressing current issues that are not producing positive results in our lives, so we have to be honest with ourselves, and that takes courage.

You may be dealing with long standing issues in your life, or facing a difficult situation that seems impossible right now. You feel alone, and that nobody cares about what you're going through. I can assure you that whatever it is, trust that nothing is too hard for GOD, or too small in his eyes. If it matters to you, it matters to him. You are his child, and he only wants the best for you.

So when we say we have Faith that GOD will work things out, we are unknowingly agreeing to his time, and his method to turn our situations around. We are saying that we agree to the trial that will produce his patience, and his perseverance, to mature and then strengthen us for the journey that lies ahead. We can not be prepared for the final test without the pop quizzes.

James 1:12 Amp Bible
Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.

Friends,
The LORD has nothing to prove to us. We have to prove that the Faith we confess is working in our lives by allowing it to separate us from anything or anyone that separates us from GOD. If we desire to be like our Father, something has to change.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Amp Bible
Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?

I Encourage you to not look back, or use old methods and habits to overcome the struggles that you are facing. You must be teachable, and you must be prayerful.

A Simple Prayer:
Lord, I desire to change from the inside out. I ask that you remove people, vices, and situations from my life to produce in me the impossible. I've been weighed down, and at times just empty. I desire to be filled with your Spirit, and YOUR WORD to be a Living Testimony of your Love, and Grace in Jesus Name Amen.

October will be AMAZING

I Declare and Decree the miraculous Power of the LORD over my life, over my family and friends, as well as my ministry. I Stand on GOD's healing and delivering Power in all areas of my life. I Believe without seeing the promise, because I know the man that they call "Jesus" has already opened my eyes to see in the natural, and in the spirit. I do not care about being removed out of the life of anyone or anything that do not value the gifts or purpose that GOD has given me--- "to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Galatians 4 12-13
I know I am received as one of his own beloved children. I know that GOD will do some Amazing things this month in Jesus Name!

Do you not perceive it?

Friends,

Everyday this month I Encourage you to Declare and Decree Change, Healing, Deliverance, Correction, Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control. For these are the keys to Freedom!

John 9 Msg Bible
30-33 The man replied, “This is amazing! You claim to know nothing about him, but the fact is, he opened my eyes! It’s well known that God isn’t at the beck and call of sinners, but listens carefully to anyone who lives in reverence and does his will. That someone opened the eyes of a man born blind has never been heard of—ever. If this man didn’t come from God, he wouldn’t be able to do anything.”34 They said, “You’re nothing but dirt! How dare you take that tone with us!” Then they threw him out in the street.
35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and went and found him. He asked him, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” 36 The man said, “Point him out to me, sir, so that I can believe in him.” 37 Jesus said, “You’re looking right at him. Don’t you recognize my voice?” 38 “Master, I believe,” the man said, and worshiped him. 39 Jesus then said, “I came into the world to bring everything into the clear light of day, making all the distinctions clear, so that those who have never seen will see, and those who have made a great pretense of seeing will be exposed as blind.”

It's all Downhill without Love

Why is the church not functioning to its full potential?

The Body of Christ as a whole is bankrupt in love. We do not value others unless it is associated with status and wealth. We think big names mean Big Gains, so we operate out of a spirit of “I,” instead of “us.” Our gifts and purpose within the body are used to hustle those that are broken and without understanding, or as a means to promote our own agenda. The WORD of GOD is no longer the message. The message is “Give to Get”. We often become discontent with what our roles within the church are, and begin to operate in error to pacify our own emotional needs of accolades and praise. If your job is to usher the people to their seats, it should be done with great pride and excellence to the glory of the LORD. If your position is to evangelize the world, it should be done so unto the LORD with confidence and boldness to win souls for the kingdom of GOD. How can they call themselves Evangelists when one has not witnessed in love to bring one to confess Christ? Let us examine the roles that we are playing to ensure they line up with the character that we are displaying. Instead of wanting to feel good all the time, we should desire correction and truth. One cannot be the Body of Christ if it still desires to be oneself.

Msg Bible-Romans 12 4-6
In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we're talking about is Christ's body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn't amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ's body, let's just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren't.

Why are some Leaders spiritually unstable?

They are not rooted in God's love. They are walking in their own standard of love while preaching, evangelizing, teaching, and prophesying their own agenda. They lack the maturity needed in respective positions, or are self-promoted. They tend to become dissatisfied with their ministry, because it lacks the accolades they seek. Most Leaders ministries are not just established solely by their gifts, but by their experiences before they came to Christ to reach a certain group. If it's something they are still ashamed of they will not minister about it or be effective in outreach. Outreach is not about gathering a group of people together to hear you preach or to say, "I did this or that." Outreach is about making permanent change in the lives of people that will in return impact their environment. Leaders such as this tend to function best around those that are familiar to them, they over inflate themselves to others, and tend to refuse to work with or submit to Church Leaders that are sincere and Christ centered, out of fear of being exposed as a fake. Eventually everything comes down to appearance and status, and that becomes the ultimate delusion of grandeur.

-Romans 12 Msg Bible
6-8 If you preach, just preach God's Message, nothing else; if you help, just help, don't take over; if you teach, stick to your teaching; if you give encouraging guidance, be careful that you don't get bossy; if you're put in charge, don't manipulate; if you're called to give aid to people in distress, keep your eyes open and be quick to respond; if you work with the disadvantaged, don't let yourself get irritated with them or depressed by them. Keep a smile on your face.
9-10 Love from the center of who you are; don't fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle.
11-13 Don't burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don't quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.
14-16 Bless your enemies; no cursing under your breath. Laugh with your happy friends when they're happy; share tears when they're down. Get along with each other; don't be stuck-up. Make friends with nobodies; don't be the great somebody.

What is the responsibility of the Christian?

It is your responsibility to seek God through Christ on your own, not through man/woman. It is your responsibility to read your bible, and pray for understanding. It's your responsibility to surround yourself around a Body of Christ that is rooted in God's love to help you reach the mark of your high calling in Christ Jesus. It's your responsibility to not be deceived or led astray. It's your responsibility to spread the Gospel by your actions and conversation. It's on you if you die, and end up in the wrong place. It's on you if you are without God's love.

Mark 12 Amp Bible
29 Jesus answered, The first and principal one of all commands is: Hear, O Israel, The Lord our God is one Lord;30 And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment. 31 The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

Romans 14 Amp Bible
12 And so each of us shall give an account of himself [give an answer in reference to judgment] to God.

1 Peter 4 Msg Bible
1-2 Since Jesus went through everything you're going through and more, learn to think like him. Think of your sufferings as a weaning from that old sinful habit of always expecting to get your own way. Then you'll be able to live out your days free to pursue what God wants instead of being tyrannized by what you want.
1 Peter 4
7-11 Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God's words; if help, let it be God's hearty help. That way, God's bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he'll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to the end of time. Oh, yes!

Friends,
It is never too late to fall on your face to seek, and receive the unchanging, unbreakable, and forgiving Power of GOD's LOVE in your life.

Are you Faith Strong?

Psalm 27:1
A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Sometimes it seems that unwavering Faith is impossible to obtain in a world that's resisting to the idea that one can simply stand on the WORD of GOD to experience real change in their lives. I can assure you with every fiber of my being that the LORD is real, and that Jesus is sitting at GOD's right hand. It is a fact that I will give my life for.

On September 1, I was almost hit by a car while out riding my bike. It was in the evening and I was highly visible. The car would not yield. I took the light from my bike, and shined it into the vehicle, and it still would not stop. I was not able to ride on the sidewalk, because cars were parked on the curb on both sides, therefore blocking my way to get over. The road was very narrow. I hit both brakes and flew from my bike to the ground. The driver got out, and came over to me. He was around 17-19 years old, and appeared to be under the influence. I asked him, "Why didn't you stop?" He said, "You should have been on the sidewalk." I briefly explained that as a cyclist I am able to ride my bike in the road, and have to adhere to all duties of the road that apply to motor vehicles. He didn't say a word. He walked away, and left. A few neighbors came out, but did not offer to assist me. I had no feeling in my left arm or hands. I managed to ride my bike home by the grace of GOD, and my husband took care of me.

It took me 14 days to recover. I had no broken bones, or fractures. I was diagnosed with elbow bursitis, and experienced limited mobility in my arm. On September 16, the Doctor gave me the green light to resume exercise and told me to ease back into my fitness routine. I did 20 laps in a 25 meter lane at the pool that day and then 16 laps in a 50 meter lane two days later. What I realized is that my level of fitness made it possible to recover well. Before my accident, I could swim a mile in 42 minutes. My Faith in GOD, and myself to care for his temple assured a speedy recovery. I was not bitter during the time I was recovering, and I continued to give my best to my family, and ministry.

Friends,

If you’re not Strong in your Faith, before the storms hit, you will not be able to withstand them to recover well. That's why there are so many broken leaders, and believers in the church. They are functioning, but not producing the nine fruits of the spirit - love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. They focus so much on themselves that they stop looking to GOD through Jesus.

Just like my neighbors who came to see what was going on, but offered no aid to me, it is like that in the church. People are actually delighting in the bad news of others. I can assure you that those that do not come to the aid of their brothers or sisters with a kind word, a prayer of relief, or aid will begin to experience a dry season in their life. This behavior is not OF GOD, and one cannot justify it by any means.

I encourage you to become Faith Strong by picking up your bible, and reading it daily, going to church or a bible study, and connecting yourself with a body of believers that desire to see you Living the Kingdom Life. The storms in your life are not designed to break you, but build you up in your most Holy Faith to prove what is that Good, and Acceptable, and Perfect will of GOD.

Confess that weakness that's preventing you from becoming Faith Strong, and then Affirm GOD's WORDS over your life, and he will DO IT!

Here are a few questions to determine your level of Faith?

What is the first thing you do when you're faced with a difficult situation?
Are your storms a result of sinful behavior?
Do you encourage, or help others when you are going through hardships?
Does your attitude change towards GOD, and others that are doing well?
Do you become withdrawn?
Do you blame others for what's going on in your life?
Do you trust GOD totally or is it limited?
Do you become self-loathing?

The More you LIFT others up, the More You become Stronger!

Proverbs 28 NLT
13.People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. 14. Blessed are those who fear to do wrong, but the stubborn are headed for serious trouble.

Psalm 32:5 NLT
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, "I will confess my rebellion to the LORD." And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Interlude

Psalm 37:3 NIV
Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

Romans 12 Msg Bible
12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Colossians 3:8 NIV
But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

1 John 4:20 NLT
If someone says, "I love God," but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we don't love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?

Growing Up

Friends,

There are things that people do under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or their emotions that may seem RIGHT, but are WRONG. They are justified by "I feel," "I want," and "I need," but they hold no moral weight. This type of behavior is a breeding ground for guilt, shame, unforgiveness, resentment, and self-loathing.

I know dealing with conflict, misunderstandings, or Life in general can be disheartening, and the need to defend yourself can turn into a need to be RIGHT in spite of the cost.

As you enter into the month of September, I encourage you to finalize some misunderstandings, conflicts, and life issues to be spiritually stable and mature in your journey. Grab hold of the nine fruits of God's Holy Spirit to experience an authentic approach to your Faith that is found in Christ Jesus. Selah!

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Galatians 5 Msg Bible
22-23 But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.

23-24 Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way. Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and mindlessly responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed off for good—crucified.

25-26 Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives. That means we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original.

Love is the Evidence of Faith

I Strongly want to Encourage you to Love others from a genuine spirit, in spite of what they said, did, or caused. It will truly exemplify your level of maturity in Christ, and allow you to live above the influence of human emotions.

I want you to understand that this act does not mean you cannot voice how you feel regarding any grievances in a constructive way, for our Lord and Savior has done so on many occasions, yet he did not allow others to taint, derail, shame, or discredit his calling or his conduct. It will not absolve them from any wrong doing, but it is GOD that decides a just outcome for all who are involved. He alone knows their trouble, their sorrow, and their pain that is ever-present. If you are wise you will see it too, and pray for their deliverance from such things. It is best to Count it all joy that you have come to know Jesus in this way, and show mercy as he has shown you.

Friends,
If you are going through hardships, and you are withdrawn, you have no joy, and your primary focus is me, myself, and I, you have lost your Faith in your sea of trouble. You have drifted from your first Love, and forsaken his greatest commandment, and perhaps your mounting trouble is due to your own selfishness, and disregard for others. Therefore, I cannot stress the importance of having Love overflowing in your very being.-Mark 12 29-31

Seek the LORD, because it is never to late too allow Jesus to come in and make the crooked roads straight, and the rough ways smooth in your life. It is never to late to apologize to those you have hurt or offended by your conduct. It is never to late for LOVE. John 3:16-17

Luke 6 Msg Bible
27-30 “To you who are ready for the truth, I say this: Love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer for that person. If someone slaps you in the face, stand there and take it. If someone grabs your shirt, giftwrap your best coat and make a present of it. If someone takes unfair advantage of you, use the occasion to practice the servant life. No more tit-for-tat stuff. Live generously.

Keep On Keeping On

Good Evening ALL,

I just enjoyed a peaceful 20 mile bike ride with the LORD! I even stopped for a bathroom break at one of the pools in my community, and shared my faithfulness in moving forward, helping others, and just loving people (even if they don't care about me) with three of his young children that I know have a promising future.

One of the things that I felt was necessary to share was how important it is to show love and offer encouragement to others in their time of need, even when you know they wouldn't do the same for you. It is love that sets us apart, and obedience to GOD that touches his heart. Your life is always full of joy, peace, love, and hope when you do this, because the fruit of your Faith will be evident in your conduct.
I Encourage you to be Consistent in your Faith for it is far more important than the plans you have for your life. Selah!

Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
Galatians 6 9-10
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Out with the OLD

The Word "New" is an adjective used to describe many things. It means not existing before; made, introduced, discovered recently, now for the first time, or already existing but seen.

It's like being in a great relationship/friendship, and all of sudden you are introduced to the person that was hiding behind the pseudo persona. You're shocked, and you find it difficult to maintain a healthy relationship with someone you never knew.

They can either change so you both can be aligned with one another or the condition of the relationship will become worse off than it was before; fragments, instead of oneness.

Right now, you may be experiencing fragments of Jesus. You're Saved, but you're not free. You don't feel like you have a relationship with GOD, nor do you have direction. You have no peace, and you worry about everything, and doubt you will receive what you pray for. -James 4 8-10

Friends,
There is a "Newness" that the LORD desires to bring into the lives of his children, because we are in need of being refreshed. We as the Body are holding on to the world's way, and our way of living and calling it the KINGDOM.

The KINGDOM of GOD is Righteousness, Peace, and Joy which is to abide in you through the Holy Spirit. -Luke 17 20-21

I Declare Newness in our hearts, our children, our spouses, our families/friends, in our homes, in our minds, our actions, our conversations, our churches, our schools, our finances, in our government, and in the land in JESUS NAME AMEN.

Mark 2

21“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. Otherwise, the new piece will pull away from the old, making the tear worse. 22.And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.”.”

Test Me

So Yesterday I became a Marathoner!

You may be asking yourself what does that have to do with GOD?
Everything!

Psalm 119:32
I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding.

You see, while I was out running/walking in extreme weather conditions, God began to speak to me on my journey. I began to see myself, as well as others, through his eyes. It was such a beautiful revelation that rings with such profound truth, triumph, and sadness. (James 1 2-5)

I was scheduled to leave at 6am, but I woke up not feeling well, because of a head cold that I had been nursing for the last three days. I prayed about it of course, and waited until the symptoms subsided.

Some may say that I was not fully prepared, or that I should of gotten up a little earlier. Well, I would not dispute that, but you see, when I went to bed the night before I did so thinking I was 100%. I had no symptoms.

GOD begin to show me that waiting and trusting him in All things is Purposeful. We do not know the future. We do not know what symptoms or unfinished business per se will show up in our lives that will cause us to pause. However, our actions determine the outcome.

So Right now you may think you’re 100%, until you hear someone you know is getting married, got a promotion, or are just reaching their goals in life, and you can’t congratulate them or even acknowledge what’s happening for them in a genuine spirit. A “Symptom of Jealousy” has reared its ugly head, and it represents your own short comings. You may even start comparing yourself to them, or pointing out all the things you have that they don’t have. (Symptom of Low-Self-esteem) I can not leave out the emotional damage that’s done through self-doubt. (Symptom of Negativity)

Any remedy that does not include GOD is a personal choice to remain symptomatic. What is not realized at the time is that you are self sabotaging your own success. You are not applying what you heard, or what you say you believe in your own life. You are just pretending. You are a book filled with many chapters, but no happy ending. You jump from one thing to another, one person to another, and you feel no joy, because your symptoms were never diagnosed or dismissed.

Friends, the beautiful thing about God is that his requirements differ for us all, yet his standards are universal. Our maturity is not measured by age, or intellectual knowledge, but by our ability to be obedient, our ability to do what is right when it doesn't feel good in order to grow, our acceptance of failure in order to be successful, and our conduct as we go through diverse circumstance.
(Hebrews 5:13-14)

Beloved, God is ready to heal you right now, so you may live a purpose filled life. One that does not mirror others, but is truly designed by him. “Just Believe” (Romans 8:28-31) (2 Corinthians 3:17)

In the end, I could have finished my race a little sooner, and under less extreme conditions. Instead, I chose to trust GOD. I chose to Believe that he would deal with my symptoms once I confessed them with my mouth. I chose to Believe that his methods are just. I saw new things on my route that I had never seen before. I even met a woman that was just starting to take up running, and offered her some encouragement.

I started out late, but I finished my race without hurting myself or anyone else in the process. I waited for a PURPOSE!

Psalm 26.2
Test me, Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind;
- Msg Bible
Examine me, God, from head to foot, order your battery of tests. Make sure I’m fit inside and out

GOT Compassion?

Compassion is an emotion followed by an action. It's forgiveness without an explanation. It's an expression of love that comforts, heals, and gives direction. It knows no barriers. It transcends through time for its sake.

It's a Provider, and a Life Saver!

Matthew 14 NIV
13.When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. 14.When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

15.As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”

16.Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

17“We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

18.“Bring them here to me,” he said. 19.And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20.They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21.The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

It's The Halfway Point

This past weekend I went out to walk 16 miles, and decided to walk a different route. I noticed how much shade there was, and how many trees gave off a cooling breeze, even on the hottest day of the Summer.

I walked a little more and came across some Donkeys and Cows. They were all huddled together, but one Donkey locked its eyes on me and started following me while in his pen. He suddenly stopped in frustration, wagging his head back and forth realizing he was pinned in, glaring at me as I carried on.

The cows represent those that are lukewarm. They have not fully committed either way, and continue to look for signs and wonders, when action is needed.

Psalm 37:5-6 Msg Bible
Open up before God, keep nothing back;

he’ll do whatever needs to be done:
He’ll validate your life in the clear light of day
and stamp you with approval at high noon.

Look to GOD

In the Bible, the number 6 symbolizes man and human weakness, the evils of Satan, and the manifestation of sin. Man was created on the sixth day.

I Want to Encourage you to look to GOD this month for all that you need to be Strengthened in a way like never before. You may find yourself needing to exercise self-control to walk away from a situation that is on the verge of explosion, and your reaction can either extinguish it, or inflame it.

Friends,
We were not created to be separate from GOD, but to be an exact expression of Him. Let us Draw to our First Love for comfort in all things to be healthy mentally, spiritually, and physically.

Let Go of Negativity

Having a negative attitude regarding issues or concerns in your life can effect the outcome. In fact, it determines the kind of person you will be once the storm has passed.

Today, search your heart to determine the degree of negativity that is lurking around and affecting your relationships, your career, your health, your state of mind, and your Faith, and pray about it.

If not, these Negative thoughts/feelings can bring forth negative actions that can or have become patterns that we create in our lives when faced with what we deem as difficult or unfair.

I am confident the key to dispel it in your life and remove its effects will be in Accepting Responsibility, Expressing Personal Truths about Yourself, and yielding to the much needed Changes that the LORD is trying to bring forth through various sources.

Friends,

When we resist change, we create a barrier that keeps out God's true expression for us concerning our circumstance, and we wrestle with Hope as if it has come to work against us.

God desires to do a new thing in you. Do you not perceive it?

Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. -Romans 12-2

I AM who GOD says, I AM!

Connecting with People from our Past or even Family that have wronged us in some way will take Wisdom and Truth.

It is not always necessary to drag the past into the present, but incidents rooted in pain, betrayal, abandonment, abuse and unforgiveness can not be mended without Truth.

It's like trying to connect two broken puzzle pieces.

I thank GOD for King David's testimony about the POWER of GOD in his life concerning his own brothers and father. He did not allow their lack of faith in him to deter him from being the Man GOD called him to be. When faced with his wrong he accepted his responsibility and went to be counted as (A Man After God's own heart.)

Friends,

Our inheritance and portions are not determined by natural affiliations, but by the hand of GOD on our lives. King David had an army before he had a Kingdom, and Jesus was the Savior before the fall of man.

You don't have to prove who you are to anybody, you just have to accept your Chosen position.

Selah!

Ephesians 1 Msg Bible
11-12 It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.

13-14 It’s in Christ that you, once you heard the truth and believed it (this Message of your salvation), found yourselves home free—signed, sealed, and delivered by the Holy Spirit. This signet from God is the first installment on what’s coming, a reminder that we’ll get everything God has planned for us, a praising and glorious life.

Appraise Your Life

Relationships end or begin because of many reasons, but within the top three would be (Value.)

Value
1.the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.
2.a person's principles or standards of behavior; one's judgment of what is important in life.

I know it is not a concept that many people think about, but to a degree we are in a relationship with ourselves in how we connect or establish outside entities.

Relationship
the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.

How we connect to Our Faith, Relationships, Careers, and Things determine our own value in itself.

I personally set High Standards so when those Standards are not met, I know how much of myself to invest or when to remove myself because of the lack of a return (value).

Ask yourself this.

1. How important is my overall health?
2.How does people, places, outside stresses or my self esteem effect my health?
3. What am I going to do about?

I urge you to put these things in perspective to determine are you (valuable, important, or useful enough to make some changes.

Selah!

Lay it on the Cross

We are only the clay and God is the Potter if we so chose to let him mold us into the purpose he sees fit.

Our lives are made up of choices that have a direct effect on our lives and a cast off effect on others. Let us lay down all of our bad choices, negative mindsets, unforgiveness, and the hidden matters of our hearts to leave church alive in Christ. Let people, places and situations discover for themselves that we can not be found partaking in anything that is not pure, true, lovely, and praise worthy for the sake of the Cross.

Jesus will lead you today, and forever.

A Simple Prayer:
Lord, come into my heart. I surrender my all to you. I believe you sent your son, Jesus, to die on the cross for my sins and through him alone I am saved and set free. In Jesus Name Amen.

If you believe what you just prayed, you are redeemed and free. Ask God to lead you to the right ministry to strengthen you through his Word. Pray for direction and wisdom, especially as you dig deeper to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

John 10: 14-18
“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.

The Journey

When You're moving Forward with your life, you don't back track your steps. You make the necessary adjustments along the way to reach your goals, to make your dreams a reality, or just become anew. It's never to late for a much needed journey.

A Simple Prayer:
LORD, help me let go of the baggage that I have that is weighing me down, and stopping my progress. Show me each thorn that I may call it out by name to be set free in Jesus Name Amen.

Philippians 3:12-14
12. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13.Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
