Do Not Be Fazed By the Flies

Romans 8 Msg Bible
31-39 So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture:

They kill us in cold blood because they hate you.
We’re sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one.
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.

This morning I do not have a long message because the WORD has spoken all that we NEED to be said. However, I would like to share with your my perspective on things. I recently had a conversation with a good friend about how people can act like flies in our lives. I mean every time you turn around it's something with them so much so it seems they give you no peace. I told her that I do not exert myself in any way to address those types of situations because I am not fazed by people that behave that way. I allow them to tire out and move on. Now don’t get me wrong, I know that they may change their tactics but with GOD by our sides we will still overcome.

My dear friends, flies float and flutter about to feed on anything that can provide them nourishment, like garbage and things that are dead by sucking it up like a sponge because they do not have teeth. Flies also feed on other flies by sucking up their insides, and when they land on our food it’s to vomit. That is why you immediately discard it to avoid getting sick. Why I am a telling you all this when the WORD summed it up? I’m giving you a different perspective on what you’re going through and who you’re dealing with. You are dealing with flies that cannot do any real harm to you unless you allow them to SUCK YOU UP into their petty antics or transfer their bitterness, unhappiness, and pain to you.

They want to suck the love of GOD, the WORD of GOD, the GRACE of God, the WISDOM of God, and the Peace of GOD out of your life. Do not exert yourself by trying to swat them or set your own traps. God is in control and requires you to only TRUST that he will keep you from seen and unseen dangers and seen and unseen spirits.

Do you not perceive it?

If you have LIFE and more LIFE on the inside of you that flows and increases daily than the flies will eventually die off on their own. Remember, they seek what is already wasted or wasting.

I Declare and Decree Life in every part of our being that flows in order to resurrect others in Jesus Name. Amen

4 He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones: ‘Dry bones, listen to the Message of GOD!’”
5-6 GOD, the Master, told the dry bones, “Watch this: I’m bringing the breath of life to you and you’ll come to life. I’ll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You’ll come alive and you’ll realize that I am GOD!”
