Seek A Balanced Christian Life

Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

This is my last post for 2013, and I encourage us all to be uncomfortable to grow in our Faith.

I can always tell the maturity of a Believer by the Words they gravitate to, to refuel their spirit. Because they’re not necessarily looking for the truth, but comfort in being stagnant. They live their life on a hamster's wheel; always waiting to be fed.

The truth is most Believers consume processed WORD, and refined sugars. It gives them a jump and shout for a little while, but once the effects wear off, their worst off than they were before. This is because the diet of a Believer has to be balanced. One has to have their meat and potatoes, vegetables, fruits, and a nice glass of purified water to hydrate the body.

We have to READ our Bible, and pray to receive a revelation from the LORD himself to have it embedded in our heart, mind, and soul.

It’s like the saying, “You’ll know when you have kids”.
Well, Brothers and Sisters you will know when you read, and ask GOD to show you the TRUTH.

In 2014, GOD is calling us to be truthful, and honest with ourselves. We are no closer to the mark that he called us to five years ago. Some are Saved, but not Delivered, Some are just in rebellion, and some have never given their heart over to Jesus. If you want to stop making the same mistakes with different people, or hiding behind past hurts, and old wounds , Just Say yes to Jesus in 2014, and he will make all things new in your life.

That tattoo you got back in the day will no longer hold a place in your heart, GOD will show you the truth regarding idolatry, and graven images on your body. The body piercing you flaunt out of ignorance or rebellion will close up miraculously, once GOD reveal to you why you’re still dealing with practicing sin in your life, and jealousy in your heart.  He’ll show you if you want to know the truth. The fear you carry around and anxiety you have concerning your marriage, and dreams; He will cast those off of you, because of his perfect love for you.

Dear Friends, it will take Strength and Courage to pull back the veil on yourself to discover you're not the victim, but an accomplice. You will have to say out loud you have not always given your best, and that's why things didn't workout.  You will have to separate yourself from people, places and things to become whole.

I myself have declared that this is the Year that I will step out on Faith to make the ministry the LORD has given me visible to do what I was called to do, and that will take me to get my finances in order. It will take me living up to the truth that I already attained. I Declare it in Jesus Name Amen.

Simple Prayer:
Holy Spirit come into my life and open my eyes, to change my heart in Jesus name Amen.

John 14 26-27
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Philippians 3 15-16

All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

Psalm 34:4
I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 37:4
Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Are you a Cheer Leader or a Coach?

Some people will only encourage you as long as you're in their group, but as soon as you step away to do your own thing, your progress is no consequence to them. These people are merely cheer leaders, and cheer leaders, cheer for their team only. In 2014, ask GOD to either connect you to those that have the heart of a coach, or open your eyes to the one's you already have in your life, because those are the people that will inspire you to do the impossible. Selah!

"Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward JesusMatthew 14;29

Are You Genuine?

Genuine People don't pick and choose who they encourage, who they help, or who they show kindness to, because they want to see all people whether rich or poor, depressed or happy, unsure, or focused know that someone cares if their living the Abundant Life!

Are you Genuine?
Actual, real, or true : not false or fake sincere and honest

Search your heart, and pray to be healed and set free, because once the pseudo persona is gone you'll really start to live, and experience real love in your life.

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Philippians 2 1-5

What Makes The Difference With GOD

In 2014, GOD is not interesting in our fan page, our repost, and our status updates with a watered down message of his goodness and grace. He is interested in WORDS of power that will arouse the conscious, convict the heart, and empower people to take up their Cross and follow him with their WORDS, and Action!

Jesus, said'
“Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to saving yourself, your true self. What good would it do to get everything you want and lose you, the real you? What could you ever trade your soul for?  “If any of you are embarrassed over me and the way I’m leading you when you get around your fickle and unfocused friends, know that you’ll be an even greater embarrassment to the Son of Man when he arrives in all the splendor of God, his Father, with an army of the holy angels.”Mark 8 Message Bible 34-38

Profanity out of the mouth of Christians do not glorify GOD. Gossiping about things that you know nothing about does not edify, Backbiting does not convey whatever is TRUE, and telling people business does not spread the GOOD NEWS.

But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. Matthew 15:18

Those that behave this way do not KNOW GOD, do not LOVE GOD, they are using his good name for selfish gain, and deceiving themselves to think their in the KINGDOM, when they are not. But more importantly, they are misleading those that are lost.

No one can fool GOD, money does not move him, and who you connected to or married to, does not impress him.

In 2014, Intimacy with GOD requires truth about yourself, people and situations to set you free. You can't be naughty and nice at the same time, because a double minded person is unstable in all their ways.

Real FAITH requires action in everything we do, and everything we say!
(Read James 2)

GOD is separating his children, and we will know them by their fruits.

Romans 2 Message Bible
12-13 If you sin without knowing what you’re doing, God takes that into account. But if you sin knowing full well what you’re doing, that’s a different story entirely. Merely hearing God’s law is a waste of your time if you don’t do what he commands. Doing, not hearing, is what makes the difference with God.

Merry Christmas

Good Morning,

I’ve been sitting behind this computer for thirty minutes, waiting to receive a WORD from GOD, because I’m not going to post anything that I’m not lead to post. While I was waiting, I started to think about Christmas morning as a little girl with my two brothers, and how excited we were to open our gifts.

We knew by how our parents acted whether we were getting something we wanted or something we needed, because money was tight that year. However, we were happy that we never woke up to a tree and no gifts.

I know Jesus is the reason for the Season, but I can assure you that every moment in our lives will lead to a better understanding of how to apply our Faith.

I was reading Luke chapter 2, and it gives an account about how Jesus was born, and the Angels of the LORD told the Shepherds, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

I know we have to teach our children the true meaning of Christmas, but I can tell you as a child unwrapping my new shirt, slacks and coat from under the Christmas tree meant that my parents gave me their best.

It may seem like nothing to someone that can afford to give more to their children, but for my parents it was a sacrifice.

Christmas to me is about Giving your best, and Accepting it with a sincere heart of Gratitude.

Accepting Jesus Christ in our lives is the best gift that we will ever receive, because it is the GIFT that keeps on giving for generations to come. We are establishing a covenant relationship with GOD through his son to guide, lead, advise, protect, provide, deliver, and save our families.

I know this is just a simple message, but the LORD had his son born in a simple manger to be despised and rejected by mankind, to be pierced for our transgressions, and crushed for our iniquities; he was punished to bring us peace, he was wounded so we would be healed, and  he gave up his life without complaining, and rose again to give us the GIFT of Salvation.

Merry Christmas!

Hebrews 9:15
For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance--now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

LORD, touch my dry bones.

Have you ever looked in the mirror and said, “I’m getting old”?

Well each year the economy seems to take a dive, whether it’s the car industry or wall street, the American people seem to feel the impact. But there is one business that through out the years continue to boom and thrive, It’s the Beauty business.

They will sell you five lipsticks of the same color, promising that each one will do something completely different. You know sometimes we live our lives like that. We set up a buffet of what will bring us pleasure, comfort, and joy, and leave out change.

As we age, we can become more indifferent, rigid, less likely to believe; even when we say we do, and it begins to wear on us physically.

Now we know genetics play a part in how we age, but I like to think that when we became joint heirs with Christ Jesus, the natural aging process is no longer a factor in how we mature both physically and spiritually.

As Women, we care an awful lot about our appearances as we should, but over compensating is just obvious when you have fire engine red hair, and bronzed skin. I’m not making a joke, I’m being serious. We care more about creative expression, than creating authenticity.

It is said, you can tell a lot about a person by how they dress, but you can tell a lot about a person in just about everything that they do, that don’t line up with the natural aging process; both spiritually, and naturally.

Paul Said,
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11

I’m not saying that we adorn ourselves with what they wore in 1950’s, I’m saying be authentic, and true to the natural maturity process for you, both physically, and spiritually; even how we relate to our counterparts.

Women of a certain maturity need to be more of an example for the young Christian women that are coming up in this wicked generation. They need to be encouraging, affirming, supportive, and directive. It’s obvious when you behave like a bitter, jealous, envious, hopeless, and loveless woman of GOD. Your bones are dry, and they need to be refreshed by authenticity.

Just like the Samaritan woman, in John 4, who was looking in the natural, regarding Jesus not having anything to draw the water for him, so are you, looking at the young women in the LORD.

We all can learn something from someone, so you can draw from their tenacity, their untainted wisdom, their hope, their passion, and life to resurrect your dry bones. GOD is not pleased, and he is not fooled.

Just as it is so, the younger women should take heed to the instructions, and examples of women endowed with the heart of a mother, and the love of GOD to bring honor, and truth to their own lives.

You can be broken, and a mess, and still give GOD’s best if you have genuine love on the inside of you.

I thank the LORD for all the Naomi’s in the world, for I have known three in my life, and I thank the LORD for the Ruth’s that have went on to marry their Boaz to bring forth a Greater Purpose.

Intimacy with GOD in 2014, will convict the hearts of those that have dry bones, so they too can live, and live life more Abundantly.

Ezekiel 37:4
Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!

True Intimacy with GOD in 2014, will separate the world from the church.

Have you ever wondered why you gravitate to certain people more than others or you have a better time when your with a particular person?

It's because we are spiritual beings, that are made up of flesh and blood. Our natural state is just really a facade masking who we really.

That’s why you can meet the man or woman of your dreams, and in six months to a year, he or she is your worst nightmare.

I've never been one to get hung up on appearances, and I always gravitate to the underdog. The person that has all the potential, but no confidence. They have a great heart, but no one to love, or love them. They are sincere, and genuine in all that they do; even the mistakes they make are done out of ignorance. I just love being around people like that, because they're unique. They are capable of change if it's presented to them, and they will endure the process .

If you walk by the Spirit and not by sight you will see them, but if you're one of those people that are more concerned about people looking the part than actually being IT, then you're going to miss out on God's Best for you.

1 Samuel 16:7 Message Bible
But God told Samuel, “Looks aren’t everything. Don’t be impressed with his looks and stature. I’ve already eliminated him. God judges persons differently than humans do. Men and women look at the face; God looks into the heart.”

The WORD will you teach things about people, and life situations that you never knew, so Read it, and Study it. It will protect you from wolves in sheep clothing, and foes pretending to be friends, haters, that are so bitter, and disappointed with the life they've wasted, that it’s impossible for them to ever celebrate yours; and last but not least, the spectators, that are too afraid to fight the good fight, and condemn you for it.

You have to stop trying to fit in the clicks of society, even in the church .You are a misplaced puzzle piece that have found it hard to fit in anywhere. Even when you try to pretend to be down with the WORLD, your uncomfortable.

GOD did not call KINGS, and QUEENS, he called Prostitutes, and mere Fishermen to do the work, and bring the people to him.

Stop trying to get along with everyone, they don’t like you, because GOD loves you. They overlook, and underestimate you, because GOD anointed you, and blessed you!

We are the peculiar among the peculiar, because we understand who we are, and we’re not asking for forgiveness because of it.

1 Peter 2 Message Bible
9-10 But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.

The truth is we can not get along, because some are still struggling with the flesh, and some are living with one foot in the world, and one in the Kingdom; while others are living in the light.

True Intimacy with GOD in 2014, will separate the world from the church.

Jesus said,
18. “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. John 15 NIV

Being Wounded in Church

I often tell people that if you go to church to receive from people, what you expect to receive from GOD you will be greatly disappointed, because we are imperfect. But if you go to Church expecting to hear from GOD, you will be satisfied.

I’m not saying that the man or woman of GOD should not be held accountable if their behavior is unbecoming, I’m saying go to church for the right reasons. We all have our stories of being wounded in the battle of the “Pew and Pulpit” but the devil, will not be who he is, if he did not set up a few road blocks to prevent us from falling in love with GOD.  I have my stories, but I was always an avid reader of the WORD; even when I did not understand something, I prayed for clarity.

When I was about 24 or 25 I was put out of a church, because I told my Pastor, that I disagreed with a couple getting married, because of what felt, and knew of the situation. Well Saints, I was young. I knew I had the ability to see things and know things, but was unsure how to present it. I thought, because I had a rapport with my Pastor, and was his assistant I could just have a one on one. Laugh out Loud. No Sir, I was reprimanded and asked to recant what I said, and I refused and that was that. I loved my Church, I loved my Pastor and First Lady, as well as, the members. But I love GOD more.

I can assure you I was hurt. I cried out to my Father, but I kept pressing on. I attended a different church, but I never became a member of any Church since that time. Now, this happened over 10 years ago, and I’m just publicly talking about it, because it is necessary in this new season of True Intimacy with GOD, that we recognize that GOD is our TRUE SHEPHERD, and the men and women he entrust to lead us can not replace what we receive from Him alone. Please don’t think I’m saying to stop attending your church or withdraw your membership. (This was my story, not yours) I’m saying, never lose sight of  your purpose of fellow-shipping with the Church. Church Leaders are in place to teach us, inspire us correct us, rebuke us and train us in righteousness via the WORD of GOD. They have no control over our lives, and if you are in a controlling ministry, pray to GOD for direction. If you are not learning, growing or understanding your gifts, pray to GOD for direction,. It is not his will for his children to stay stagnant or move too quickly in areas we are not yet mature to handle.

I can tell you that in 2011, I contacted my old Pastor, and apologized for the way I went about conveying the information, but also found out that what I felt, and knew was correct. When you have an intimate relationship with GOD he will convict your heart at the right time to make things right.

I’m not sure if you know the story of King David and Uriah ( See 2 Samuel chapters 11-12) but King David slept with a married woman, impregnated her, and then called her husband back from war to cover it up by having him be with his wife, to give the appearance that Uriah was the Father. (Yes, they had similar issues in the Bible that we have today.)

Well the man was loyal to King David, and did not want to leave his side while all the other soldiers were gone off fighting, so David sent him back to the battlefield, and put him on the front line so he would be killed. It took the LORD about 10 months to deal with this mess with Kind David, and boy did he deal with him.

What am I saying? When you have a close relationship with GOD, he will call us out in his time to give an account for our actions. We don’t have to take matters in our own hands, and slander ministries, and leaders in the church. GOD will handle it, and he will often wait until we are mature enough to listen.

In this Season of True Intimacy with GOD, let go of  all the wrong that was done to you, and that you have done, to build a relationship with GOD that is unmovable to be called. “A person after GOD’s own heart.”

A Simple Prayer:
Lord I’m struggling with past hurts, past wrongs, and don’t know how to let go, but want to. Please renew my heart, my soul, and my mind to be focused on what is good, what is profitable what is right, what is pure, what is true, and what is news worthy. I forgive those that have trespassed against me and ask for forgiveness. Please guide me in my gifts and calling, and lead me to the right ministry to nurture them, In Jesus Name Amen.

A Message for Our Youth

It takes Courage, and Confidence to Stand on what you believe in, especially as a young person in today's society.  The LORD is pleased with those that continue to pursue him in spite of their circumstance.

GOD has not overlooked you, and he has not forgotten the promises that were prophesized concerning you. Please don’t underestimate your value, and place in the KINGDOM.

David had an Army, before he had a Kingdom, Sarah had a promise of a child, before conception, and Jesus was the Savior, before the fall of man. You were picked, set apart, and led on your own journey. What may seem like a detour is life’s lessons to ensure that your heart, mind, and soul stay connected to your first love. He is with you, and he Believes in you. Keep moving forward, and seeking his face, because he rewards those that do!

I'm praying for you.

Hebrew 11:6 Message Bible
It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him.

Intimacy with GOD in 2014 (Part2)

I had a really good talk with my oldest son about 2014, and what we will see and can expect from GOD. With that being said, Intimacy with GOD in 2014 will give us a double dose in all areas of our lives. We will see relationships rejuvenated, healed, and permanent forgiveness bringing families back together. 2014, will bring career opportunities for those that lacked confidence, and courage to step out of their comfort zone. And last but not least, deliverance for people Saved, but stuck living in the skin of the old man or woman while their pretending to be new creatures in Christ. The BODY of Christ has to get back to ministering the WORD by their conduct, not just lip service. Our focus should be bringing people to GOD, not running them out the Church, because they don't fit the part.

Church Leaders that are not nurturing GOD's children in the right spirit, and motive will be exposed. We have more Babes in the Church with the heart to do the work, but they lack CHRIST like role models to carry out the task. GOD is cleaning up his house for those that are going to worship him in Spirit and in TRUTH.

It's time to turn over the money tables in the Church, and start winning souls for the KINGDOM of GOD!

Matthew 21 The Message Bible
12-14 Jesus went straight to the Temple and threw out everyone who had set up shop, buying and selling. He kicked over the tables of loan sharks and the stalls of dove merchants. He quoted this text:
My house was designated a house of prayer;
You have made it a hangout for thieves.
Now there was room for the blind and crippled to get in. They came to Jesus and he healed them.
15-16 When the religious leaders saw the outrageous things he was doing, and heard all the children running and shouting through the Temple, “Hosanna to David’s Son!” they were up in arms and took him to task. “Do you hear what these children are saying?”
Jesus said, “Yes, I hear them. And haven’t you read in God’s Word, ‘From the mouths of children and babies I’ll furnish a place of praise’?”
17 Fed up, Jesus turned on his heel and left the city for Bethany, where he spent the night.

In His Love,

Pastor Aisha

I AM still STANDING

I've learned so much over the last year about myself, and was told by a good friend, " To make decisions that I can live with." Those words have stuck with me since that day, and has helped me to make some difficult decisions concerning people in my life. I believe that our decisions are a reflection of our character, and what we say we believe in. It's funny how something so simple, can also be so profound when applied correctly.

WEmpowered Outreach Ministries is still Standing, a few windows may have been broken, but its foundation is still solid.

Jesus life, and death was a struggle, and a purpose; and so is this life we live. Let it be said, that we never gave up. That we fought a good fight, and each failure brought on many more successes, each scar, a lesson learned, and each tear, a smile.

Let us love those that have shown us the opposite, and pray for their restoration.

AGAPE

Intimacy with GOD in 2014

What do you hear in the stillness of the day?

Some people prefer to stay busy so they don’t have to think about the unpleasantries in their life.  They take on projects or hobbies to stifle out the pain, or sadness. This is a house of cards just waiting to plummet to the ground as soon as a mild wind blows its way.  Others, tend to harp on the situation; not allowing it to breath to remove the stench of anger, and bitterness. They continue a rerun of the situation every time you talk to them, and have created their own real life drama show.

Sometimes silence, and an open heart is the key to an open mind.

The LORD is not a forceful GOD. He can not make us see or hear reason. He can not use us for the Kingdom when what we sound like is a bunch of noise, and what we act like is a bunch of children playing a game of Church.

Intimacy with GOD is more than WORDS, it’s all heart. It is a life of living water flowing out of your being for you, and those that come in contact with you to receive what you need at any given moment. It is the Holy Spirit.

I look forward to 2014, because the Greatness that we will see is how GOD will turn those that are currently pretending to know him into his Disciples, and actually bring people to Jesus; not man.

Acts 2:38-39
Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call."

A Simple Prayer:

LORD, I approach this year with expectancy in my heart, and a need for real intimacy with you. Help me be the person you destined me to be. Teach me how to communicate without words, and listen with my heart. Open my eyes to see the truth even in the darkest parts of my soul so I can be free. Teach me how to trust, and get out of my own way. I welcome the Holy Spirit in my life, In Jesus Name Amen.

The WORD for 2014: Real Intimacy with GOD is not lip action, but all Heart!

There is nothing more special or endearing than having an intimate relationship with another person. The kind of intimacy that does not depend on words to convey the depth of ones feelings or needs. It is such a profound way to communicate that a look, tone, posture, or behavior of a friend, love one, co-worker or stranger will cause you to pause, and carve out some time to make sure they're alright. I've learned over the years that people struggle with expressing themselves or articulating their needs, and some people want what they don’t need. Instead of always having a heart to heart I just talk about things that I know they’re dealing with to nurture their spirit, stroke their ego, or give them wisdom to effectively handle life’s curve balls. I don’t expect each encounter to yield immediate results, but I do expect to sow a seed that will bud at the right time.

As we move into the new Year, the LORD desires for his people to have that kind of intimacy with him. One that does not always require a WORD that has to be looked up to confirm if it is so. But a deeper understanding of who he is, and what he requires from us personally. This is a personal journey, a personal relationship that is not measured by your Pastor, the Church, your family or friends, but by you. You and only you will have to give an account for your life; even if you did things out of ignorance. Hosea 4 , in part says, “My people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge.

How many people read their Bible on their own? How many people know that when you say, “ I AM A Christian, that one day, you may have to die, because of it? (Read Revelation chapter 2) Before, I was ordained as a Pastor I read my WORD, and studied, because a title does not define you; it only affirms your position spiritually.

The LORD is calling all his children into an intimate relationship with him, one that can not be moved , or shaken by life’s misfortunes. One that will survive death, financial loss, heartache, despair, and even love. Our hearts should be that of the Father’s. I am baffled when I see racist, and hate groups associate themselves with Christianity when Jesus said, “The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:31

There is no COMMANDMENT GREATER!

At the end of the day, search your heart, and see if you have an intimate relationship with GOD; where the Bible does not have to confirm to you it is, you just feel it in the depth of your soul, and are convicted when your actions or thoughts are not a reflection of his. Pray if you don't know, because the LORD is faithful in conveying the truth to you!

Ezekiel 36 NIV
26. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

For all the Christians that are like, nothing matters in the Old Testament:

1 John 2 (The Message Bible)
2-3 Here’s how we can be sure that we know God in the right way: Keep his commandments. 4-6 If someone claims, “I know him well!” but doesn’t keep his commandments, he’s obviously a liar. His life doesn’t match his words. But the one who keeps God’s word is the person in whom we see God’s mature love. This is the only way to be sure we’re in God. Anyone who claims to be intimate with God ought to live the same kind of life Jesus lived.

In His Love,
